I LOVED the opening! How he's sharpening the blade and your description of the deadliness of the weapon. This by far my favorite chapter beginning. I've always been a fan of naming weapons, probably because of LOTR.đł So he finds this seemingly mundane task soothing, instead of going on a murderous rampage? I'm sure he looks no less deadly sharpening that blade with anger simmering just under the surface.
I concur with Azaad.. Rip Amaads arms off and feed them to any junglee janwar, bechare Shiraz ki tabiyat kharab kyun kare.đ. I'm so pissed at tv wala Amaad (good job Ankit) that yeh FF wala Amaad ka naam chid jaye bas, maarne ka dil hota hai.
So Amaad fathered a child and the poor thing died at birth. So that rules out the little girl being his.. Or does it? Lol. He may have little ones running around all over the place. At least one mystery is solved.. The hunting of young maidens. That cad Amaad!!đĄ
Azaad seems to have inherited the curse? Hmm.. Naseers cryptic lines in the book make me think that KB was posssed or turned evil after the fire. That, added to the weight and Misery of the curse made him kill himself and thus passed on the curse to his first born. Poor Azaad.
The lines where you described him holding onto to Adaq and pleading with him not to leave, really tugged at my heart strings!

Mahira is gone tree climbing I see. I was crossing my fingers and hoping that it wasn't Amaad on the horse. Puri mutton ki dukaan collapsed onto Mahira and she didn't break her bones?đ˛đ
Our darlings in a compromising position.. I wonder if anyone is going to walk in on them.
Looking forward to the dreaded date with Amaad.
