Gautam's Bitterness Towards the Virani Family

Gautam's conversation with Sobha reveals the deep-seated resentment he harbors towards his family. As Sobha serves him coffee, Gautam mentions that he's changed and no longer likes coffee, prompting Sobha to remark that he's still a true Virani. Gautam's response is laced with self-pity, claiming he's a small man who isn't loved by anyone, including his parents, who he believes favor their step-children.

Gautam brings up the topic of Baa's will, reminding Sobha that Damini was excited about it and had high expectations. He accuses Mihir of forgetting his own son and only remembering Karan's child. Gautam's bitterness boils over as he talks about his son's missed opportunity to join the London Business School and how he feels he's been denied everything.

Despite Sobha's attempts to calm him down, Gautam continues to vent his frustrations, revealing that Damini and Nakul left him but he's determined to try again. He recounts his visit to Shantiniketan, where he felt ignored by his father, who only cares about Karan and Ritik. Gautam's expectations from Karan are palpable, and Ritik's mention of Karan's new business venture in New York only adds to Gautam's sense of inadequacy. The conversation ends with Mihir asking Gautam what he's trying to say, leaving the tension between them unresolved.

Gautam's Emotional Breakdown

Gautam's conversation with Mihir quickly turns sour as he reveals he's facing business losses. Instead of offering support, Mihir lectures Gautam, praising Karan's good habits and implying that Gautam's problems stem from not listening to him. Gautam tries to explain his situation, but Mihir's condescending tone becomes too much, and Gautam decides to leave.

As he prepares to depart, Gautam confides in Sobha about his feelings of inadequacy and neglect. He reveals that his expectations from his family have been shattered, and Damini doesn't listen to him. Despite Nakul's warning to avoid discussing certain topics with their father, Gautam asks for time, hoping things might change.

Gautam's pain and sense of isolation pour out as he tells Sobha about the letters he's written to his family over the years, but they never bother to read them. He shows Sobha the unsent letters, a poignant reminder of his feelings of loneliness. Sobha tries to offer some comfort, suggesting that Gautam talk to their father, but Gautam is skeptical, believing that Papa only cares about Karan.

In a heart-wrenching moment, Gautam asks Sobha why their parents can't be good parents to him, seeking answers to the emotional pain he's endured. Sobha's attempt to console him highlights the deep-seated issues within the Virani family.

Mihir's curiosity gets the better of him as he confronts Noina and Suchi, sensing that they're hiding something from him. "What are you two hiding from me?" he asks, his tone firm but laced with a hint of concern. Suchi tries to deflect, but Mihir's not buying it. "What will happen if I find out?" he presses, his eyes locked on Noina.

Noina looks at Suchi, and for a moment, it seems like she's about to reveal a deep secret. But before she can say anything, Mihir interrupts, his patience wearing thin. "Tell me what you're hiding," he demands, his voice rising.

Suchi, trying to protect Noina, jumps in with a lie, but Noina decides to speak up, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll tell you," she says, her eyes locked on Mihir's.
