Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan sees Abhira but chooses not to meet her

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira drifts into a moment where she imagines embracing Maira warmly. Her thoughts are interrupted when Mukti snaps her out of it and wonders if she is disturbed because the principal may have reprimanded her. Abhira quickly tells Mukti not to stress about anything.

Soon, Mukti admits she regrets arguing with Maira for no valid reason. She opens up to Abhira and confesses that she felt envious when Maira spoke proudly about her large family. Abhira silently reflects on Maira while listening to Mukti’s guilt. Mukti calls herself wrong and accepts that she has been feeling insecure around Maira without understanding why. Abhira gently advises her to make peace and start afresh with Maira, but Mukti stubbornly refuses to initiate a conversation. Abhira even suggests that Mukti share pani puri with Maira as a sweet gesture and say sorry, yet Mukti declines again, claiming that Maira behaves arrogantly. Abhira reminds her not to judge someone so quickly, explaining that Maira might be dealing with her own struggles that no one knows about.

At school, the principal cancels the scheduled meeting with Armaan and instead asks Maira to speak with him directly. When Armaan meets Maira, he apologizes for arriving late and calmly asks about the physical altercation. Maira also apologizes and admits she became jealous after seeing Mukti talk to her mother. Armaan tries to understand if she is suppressing her emotions, especially about her own mother, but Maira avoids answering anything related to that topic.

Later, Armaan notices Abhira standing by the road. Old memories flood his mind, yet he chooses not to walk up to her. As fate would have it, Abhira’s stole gets caught in Armaan’s car. Instead of returning it to her, he tosses it aside onto the road.

On the other hand, Mukti approaches Maira with pani puri, saying that her mother sent it for her. The sight of the snack takes Maira back to moments when she enjoyed pani puri with Abhira and Armaan. However, she brushes aside the emotions and tells her roommates to eat it, making an excuse that it might cause pimples. She appears irritated and withdrawn.

Meher later tells Armaan that it is a relief Maira’s problem has been resolved. Armaan, however, is lost in thoughts about Abhira and distracts himself by bringing up a discussion about the garage owner. Meher suggests he head home, but Armaan refuses and insists on completing his pending work.

Meanwhile, Abhira looks at Maira’s photograph and feels her pain deeply. She believes Maira is suffering and thinks she cannot go near her because of Armaan. Anger builds up inside her as she recalls how Armaan sent the custody papers through Vidya instead of facing her directly. Abhira feels that Armaan is no longer the same person she once knew.

Armaan, too, grows increasingly restless as thoughts of Abhira consume him.

At the Poddar house, Madhav invites Kaveri to join everyone for a game of carrom, but she declines. The family members discuss how Maira and Mukti’s mothers handled the situation maturely. Krish returns home, and Manoj advises Tanya to speak to him calmly. Tanya invites Krish to join the carrom game, and he agrees. Vidya asks about Armaan, and Krish informs her that he left on time. Manisha jokingly suspects that Armaan might be celebrating Valentine’s Day with someone special, but Vidya defends him, saying he does not have a girlfriend. Manish then announces that they should celebrate Valentine’s Day together as a family.

Unable to calm his thoughts, Armaan goes back to search for Abhira’s stole on the road. When he finds it, he sets it on fire, convincing himself that by destroying it, he can finally find peace and sleep without being haunted by memories.

In the precap, Armaan looks for a mechanic and reaches Restart Garage. He and Abhira come face to face unexpectedly, both left stunned by the sudden encounter.
