Well, this is going to be a splurge of my thoughts, so I hope I don't bore you to sleep. 😆 Apologies in advance. 😳
Accha, so while I love Swara, I do feel that she is straying into the zone of the typical, self-sacrificing heroines we see in serials. And I don't think that's a good idea.
I didn't watch the show regularly when it first started, but I got the impression that Swara was a strong and fierce girl who always fought for what is right. I'm not saying that Swara is no longer that girl, but I do think she has somewhat changed. I mean, surely, that Swara would never let something as huge as marriage hinge on the arrival of a guy who previously didn't believe her? She's putting a lot of faith in someone who had none in her. 😳
If I was Swara, I would never wait on Laksh to stop the wedding - if you have a job that needs doing, it is better to do it yourself. After all, aur kisi ka kya bharosa? 🤔
Swara has been through a lot in such a short span of time and so understandably, she hasn't been able to properly process it. But phir bhi, I feel she shouldn't have been so lenient with Ragini. Ahh, Swara was even prepared to go back to becoming SwaRagini again! 😲 Swara should have been on the offensive instead of defensive, and not let Ragini get away with practically everything. I mean, is no one going to question who "attacked" Ragini?
Okay, coming to Sanskaar. He is the most realistic character on the show at the moment. In fact, I'll even go as far as saying he is the most realistic character I have ever come across in all my years of watching Indian serials (and believe me, I have watched quite a fair amount). What I love about Sanskaar is how practical he is. 😊 He is definitely more practical than idealistic Swara.
Yes, Sanskaar has made mistakes, but he is repenting. And isn't that what us humans do? We make mistakes and once we realise how wrong we were, we do our best to rectify them - it's all a part of being human. If we didn't make mistakes then we'd be perfect.
We will perhaps get a track where Sanskaar will try and free Swara from their marriage. Not because he doesn't love her, but because he loves her too much to allow her to be in an unwanted relationship. If Sanskaar thinks she wants to get out of their marriage, then of course he will pave the way for that.
You could argue that this would be mahaan of Sanskaar (we can attribute it to being Swara's influence 😆), but I think no decent person would ever want someone else to be in a forced relationship with them. No one apart from the CVs know how this marriage thing is going to play out, but I'm hoping to see Swasan communicate with each other instead of assuming what the other wants (although, maybe that is not as dramatic? *eye roll*).
I guess what I'm really trying to say is that as Alexander Pope wrote: "to err, is human; to forgive, is divine"...and I think our Swasan fit into that pretty well.
Phew, that turned out longer than intended...sorry about that folks! 😳
Okay, now I'm going to go and re-watch some of my favourite Swasan scenes.. 😃
