Who is rejoicing on that accident ? Here 1 group want justice for the victim and 2nd group want injustice. Incase Salman will be free which group will rejoice ? So who is insensitive ?
On one hand you want him to be punished but he shouldnt be sent to jail, so what kind of punishment is that ? Isnt law same for everyone or is there exception for movie star because they entertain audience on Friday night ? Next we will see all drunk driver on the road killing people with their hightech machine, and they know law is incapable of punishing such people, so will they be scared of DUI ?
So whats your take on Salman's call on not helping farmer ? Don't you think he could have donated 1 episode fee of big boss to farmer like Nana ?
Ok first of all thanks for not generalizing and not bashing whole Salman Fandom for my post.. 😊
Now coming to the topic, Justice is subjective, a certain punishment which may seem Justice to you, might not be Justice for me.. In Salman's case, I have always focused on getting the Victim's treated properly, wanting what they want and making sure they have a good and if not better, not a worse life after losing their family member.. And I have mostly followed the news on them rather than news on Salman.. Due to these court cases they are yet to get their due and it's been around 15 yrs now and they are in the same condition like they were 15 yrs back If you follow them, even they are more keen on getting the case closed rather than having Salman punished.. It's really sad but true that Salman's punishment neither can bring their close one back, nor can help in their distress.. And that is why instead of sending Salman to Jail, I would rather appreciate him taking all responsibility of this family and adopting them..
When the verdict came, everyone was almost ecstatic and dancing with joy.. But people hardly cared about what the poor family wants.. And when he was freed within 2 hours of the verdict I didnt see myself dancing, yes I was happy for him but still the sadness wont go thinking of the victim's family.. And even Salman fans around me were rather relieved than being happy.. I definitely can't talk about those who went to the extreme to protest in fronta court for him or took poison 🤢, but in general .. Only on one perspective I would want Salman to be punished - seeing a celebrity icon behind the bars for drunk-and-drive case, would induce fear amongst many and would make even 1/10 people think twice before doing so.. That is the only reason I would want his punishment.. But again being his fan, I would be sad to see him paying the price of being Celebrity as many non-celebs and low-class people get away with this same crime everyday at least in 10 different parts in India..
For Farmer's issue - Not only Salman, I rather prefer everyone speaking in Present Perfect Tense rather than in Future Indefinite Tense 😕 I dont believe in 'I will' krap 😆 Definitely it's failure on Salman's part to have promised so and still not being able to fulfill that for whatever reasons.. 👎🏼 And that holds true for everyone, not just Salman.. But to think he has done this to make his movie Tax-free is not gelling with me well.. because in recent past we have had other movies which were declared tax-free in many states (E.g. PK) without the actors/anyone making such promise 😕 Nevertheless, Salman had might have just commented/promised that he would donate to farmers, and still didn't do it which is bad.. 🥱 But thinking of his ulterior motive and relating it to this to conclude that he is a liar and greedy, I might not be agreeing with that.. 😊
That's all.. Long rant I know.. Take care God Bless 😉
