In today's world, when India is struggling to make the society understand the meaning of "women's consent", you produce this.
Great job, I must say.
In India even today, most men believe women's consent is given or a myth.
If a woman flirts or just is being friendly with a man, that signifies automatic consent for harassment.
If a woman sleeps with her boyfriend, then that is automatic consent for all other men to sleep with her.
If a woman is wearing western outfit or smokes, that is automatic consent for rape
And God forbid, if a woman marries, that is automatic consent to anything her husband desires no question asked.
Is that the message you want to send to the society? If yes, then you have succeded. I must congratulate you for reducing a woman's worth to a DNA and a womb.
Raman wants to show how much he loves his wife by dishonouring her wishes, her respect as a human being and her right to take decision about her own body. He showed how great he is by using his ex-wife's womb as an incubator for his current wife's eggs without her consent. If that is not the biggest betrayal of her trust, then I don't know what is. By the way, this is the guy who promised he will never hide anything from his wife after his action nearly cost his wife her daughter (when Shagun tricked him by signing away Ruhi for Adi. He took Ishita's sign even then by tricking her). Obviously he will never learn respect for women.
Now, Shagun wants to show the entire Bhalla family including her children and Ishita how much she changed that she is willing to bear her child without her consent. She actually believes that she is doing Ishita a favour. After all what more infertile Ishita could ask for than her own dna running through the baby in her husband's ex-wife's womb. After all DNA is everything right?
If a woman doesn't have kids with her own DNA running around how can she be a mother? What is a mother but a productive womb and similar DNA? What more respect can an infertile woman ask for? She should just worship Raman and Shagun for doing such a big favour on her.
