Shreya: So welcome everyone to the first ever CID Shubh Vivah Marriage Bureau! We are your matchmakers and the owners of this bureau: Rifah and Shreya!

Rifah: Now to all those who have signed up welcome. We are now here to help you choose your life partner from one of these lovely CID grooms. But...but...but...but...

Shreya: Don't mind her. She's actually a hologram so every once in a while a current goes through her freezing her in her spot. 😆 So anyways what she was trying to say is that...but the grooms are not ready yet! Because before the fun begins we are giving everyone one more day to sign up. Yes if you would like to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity to get married to a CID officer, then sign up now! You have until...

Rifah (getting unstuck): But...ah that's better...yes so you have until Sept. 20, 2015 11:59 PM IST to sign-up.

Shreya: Let's explain the basics. Basically what's going to happen is that tomorrow the grooms will make their appearance and post their profiles or biodatas in the post below.

Rifah: Then you have to...to...to...to...

Shreya (sighs deeply): Why did I agree to hosting with a hologram? 🤔 Anyways you have to then post your biodatas or profiles by Sept. 23, 2015 11:59 PM IST. Along with that you will post the groom of your choice. If you don't then we'll do it for you and we can promise you it won't be fun.

Rifah (getting unstuck): To...yes I'm back! But the fun doesn't just stop there. During the week you will all have a chance to show why you are a perfect match for the groom of your choice. That's until Sept. 28, 2015 11:59 PM IST.

Shreya: That's right. Everyday we will post either a series of questions or a small activity that you have to complete to prove that you are truly a match made in heaven. After that we will open up the floor for 2 days to you and everyone else to tell us who they think is the real match. We expect these PMs by Oct. 1, 2015 11:59 PM IST. But of course the final say is with us.

Rifah: That's right. Because once we get the votes, we will then go back and examine the biodatas and the answers to the questions or the activities before making our final matches, which we will then post.

Shreya: And of course no cheating allowed!

Rifah: You are also allowed to bribe us, but it better be good else...else...else...

Shreya (getting angry): Grr!!! 😡 Can someone please take this hologram away and bring the real Rifah out?!! Basically she's saying the bribe better be good else we have a certain groom in reserve who you'll end up getting married to and we can promise you that you don't want to be married to him.

Rifah (the real one finally making her appearance): So let the fun begin!

Do not take help from anyone. These activities are meant for you to do on your own.
Please submit your answers to the activities by the deadline. There will be no extensions whatsoever.
This game is meant for fun. Please take it as such.

For completing an activity - 1 point towards the groom of your choice

For completing activity # 3 - 10 points towards the groom of your choice

For activity # 4 (decided by Rifah and Shreya) - up to 10 points towards the groom of your choice

For bribing us effectively (we need to state this in PM or in the thread) - 10 points each (that is 10 pts from Shreya and 10 pts from Rifah) towards the groom of your choice

These points are then added to the votes for pairs to arrive at the final pairs.

DCP Chitrole - I'm a funny, humorous, sarcastic individual. I lead the CID team who love me a lot. In fact they love me so much that they even got my name tattooed on their hand once. I'm an emotional individual, but I love my team dearly and now I'm looking for someone who will love me dearly.

Dr. Salunkhe - I'm ACP Pradyuman and I'm going to talk to you about my friend Dr. Salunkhe. He is a sharp minded individual who rarely misses any details. We share a love-hate relationship because we cannot get away without fighting. He is young at heart, never leaves a moment to tease the CID officers, and loves forensic science a lot. And the most important is that he can make even a dead body speak.

Dushayant - I'm a serious, straightforward, honest guy. I rarely speak, but I can get any job done. I have no fears and I won't back down without a fight. My colleagues often say that I speak so little that I'm like a ghost who will suddenly appear and surprise everyone even though I may have been in the room the entire time.

Kavin - I enjoy work and I enjoy life. My motto is to do what you can and never let yourself grow old. Be a kid at heart. My colleagues say I'm a good investigator and I take their word for it. I'm serious when needed, but I'm also one of the first to tease my colleagues.

Nikhil - I'm a huge fan of Daya sir and I'm looking for a girl whose like that as well. My life's biggest goal is to become the epitome of craziness for Daya sir and replicate every move of his. I'm always there to help my fellow colleagues and I'm a serious person though when it comes to certain situations I do have my fun as well.

Pankaj - Someone once called me the clown of CID, but really I just like keeping the mood light as we always see the dark side of people. I'm serious when it's absolutely needed, else I'm a jovial, fun-loving person. I may be a bit naive, but that doesn't mean that I can be taken advantage of.

Sachin - I'm a serious, straightforward, honest guy. I only speak if I have something important to say else I go about in the back without saying anything. I do have fun when the entire team gets together to tease someone, but that only happens once in a while.

Vansh - I'm quiet, soft-spoken, honest, and fearless. I speak when spoken to or if I have something to say or ask. I respect my seniors immensely and feel that being a CID officer is a matter of pride. And that's all I have to say.

Suraj - Yes, yes I know. I betrayed the pride and my seniors. But if you think about it I actually followed what my senior told me to do. So I'm a senior-respecting person. Other than that I'm clever, though some people may call it cunning, and I think before I say or do anything.

Vivek - What to say. The problem is that I'm never good with these things, but I guess you can say that I respect others, create relationships that will last a lifetime, and that others say that I'm strong, fearless, dedicated, honest, to the point, and pretty fast. I guess I have nothing else to say except that.

Activity # 1 - Q & A (due date Sept. 24, 2015 11:59PM IST) - pg. 32

Answer the following 5 questions:

Why do you feel you are a perfect match with the groom of your choice?
Your choice of groom is a true CID-a-holic and spends most of his time in the CID bureau even if there is no one else there. What would you do to ensure that he returns home? (All answers must be appropriate to IF rules.)
It is often said that opposites attract. Do you feel that you and your choice of groom are opposites? Prove it.
What's your dream honeymoon destination?
Let's say that on the day your flight is to take off for your honeymoon, your groom gets a call from the CID bureau asking for him to return immediately. What would your reaction be?

Activity #2 - Riddle Day (due date Sept. 29, 2015 11:59PM IST) - pg. 46

Solve the following 3 riddles. They will then direct you to a place on IF where you will find something important. Keep it. It will come in handy in the future.

I'm a moment in the day. I can only be captured in a standstill and yet I can be framed, shared, and a story can be told about me. What am I?
The biggest one would take 3 months to see properly if you spent 4 seconds at each object and the smallest one a few seconds if you spent 4 seconds at each object. Yet both of us would be called the same thing because we both have the same type of objects to showcase that are often made by creative people. There's even an online version of me. What am I?
If you take 3 apples from a group of 5, how many do you have? Go to that page # in the answer to the above 2 puzzles.

And you need to PM either CT_Shreya or aditya_anjaana with the picture and the answer to the 3 puzzles.

Activity # 3 - Tough Riddle (due date Oct. 1, 2015 11:59PM IST) - pg. 55

This activity is meant for all those who sent in their activity 2 answers. The one person who didn't send in their answers is not eligible for this activity. You have 2 days to solve these riddles. Riddle 1 is worth 4 points, and riddles 2 and 3 are worth 3 points each for a total of 10 points. Send in your answers to either CT_Shreya or aditya_anjaana or both.

Today you all can question each other, debate each other, and argue with each other to prove that you are the right choice for the groom of your choice. That is, everyone else is a Devil's Advocate arguing that you are not the right match and you have to prove that you are.

Activity # 5 - Bribe Day (due date Oct. 3, 2015 11:59PM IST) - pg. 94

Imagine that you had a chance to spend 24 hours with the groom of your choice to convince him that you and him are a match made in heaven. What would you do to prove this? And what do you expect him to do to prove the same?

Additionally you have to now start thinking about bribing us matchmakers. So put those thinking caps on and prove away! 😉

If it starts getting tiring, will get both of us in my newly invented time machine aka Croc-a-roony and have him treated to exquisite cuisines across ten millennia and a thousand and one different cultures. All in a day thanks to me working the special theory of relativity into this time machine's dimension compressor which'll get our journey done within 24 hours.
