No Deepika is not a negative person as someone who can openly speak about depression. She is a bit closed to emotions after Ranbir incident.

Most of the actresses are jealous of her simply. Someone wants her roles, someone endorsements, someone her love life and some one her numero uno position.

One of the things I like about Deepika is her choice of roles. If she has been insecure and wanting to hold on to the no.1 position at any cost, she would not have refused Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and would have been usure of signing Piku, no matter how great the role. Piku is the sort of role that usually goes to a Konkona Sen Sharma. This does not mean that Deepika does not do masala entertainers, but does usually have a significant presence in them. And so while I do think she is ambitious and hardworking, I also think that she is ambitious craft-wise.

Deepika may not be as malicious as others, but is not a saint either! Like many have stated, she's a hypocrite, fake and dosen't have the audacity to stand by her statements..basically someone who can't be trusted. So yes in a way she's negative.
