The fact she ain't able to handle her success well and went into depression shows the kinda negativity she harbors for others around her. So Yes to the question, she may fool others with diplomacy or saccharine sweet words, but gets busted time and again. Benefit of doubt can be given once or twice but not when multiple contemporaries burst her ever so fake bubble with the kinda negativity she chronically stores in her system which comes out through her PR.

Deepika is a very positive person. Despite having a calculative, destructive PR that not only makes her come across as extremely calculating and ruthless, but goes on to attack other actresses: she is positive enough to believe she will get away with all of it with her sweet, positive image. She has the guts to go after rival actresses movies and yet insists she gets movies due to her own merit: she is positive enough to believe everyone will accept her words of merit over others. For anyone to get away with all that they have to be very positive.

It's too hard for me to certify Deepika's ionic composition sitting behind my laptop screen in some corner of the world. Positive, negative or neutral, Deepika has an awesome screen appeal and thats what should count more to the audience.

That world is soo murky that even 50 years before actresses used to send chamchas to know what other actresses are wearing in party, what is going to be her hair style. If someone is doing a retro bouquet the other actress will never do the same in the same party even if it has to be changed at last moment.
and now it is even more complicated. Every single actor is driven by their image consultant team. So its near impossible to know how they are in real life. Anybody thinking otherwise is kidding themselves...

That's because she acts so sweet, but her actions say something else and what she does behind back to others. One would think she would finally feel happiness, peace, security once she got a little bit of success, but no instead she become hell insecure as person or as an actress. She keeps going after each and every actress she finds as a threat to her using her PR against them and through other ways while pretending to be fine and sweet to them in open/public. No wonder many don't like her when they find out how fake her behaviour is.

Having said that, shes also fierce, calculated, competetive, shes on the top AND she has a strong PR so obviously she will rub people the wrong way, especially her competitors.

Sonam is a loser, she has a problem with everyone. Kangana at first was very endearing but now she looks stupid by using Deepika's name everywhere for publicity. Anushka and Deepika have the Ranveer factor so they have a right to dislike each other.

You pretty much summed up my thoughts, she is extremely ambitious and that's what I like most about her. She doesn't take her stardom or her dads name for granted, she is working hard and unapologetic about things she or PR has to do! In this industry, you need that especially if you don't have godfather or strong filmy connection.

You can't reach the top without manipulation. All of them have PR and other sources to spread their stories and pictures. It's just that people show interest in some and ignore some. Just because few people repeat a rumor, it doesn't become the truth. PR can't make people act well and bring audience to the theater. Actors are responsible for their flop show. If Kangana is saying all this to declare that she's numero uno then it's fine. Now everyone is talking about Kangana and Deepika like Kareena and Priyanka. Good for them.
