They are, officially. The debate lies in whether or not a "third majority" can be termed a majority at all.

Can diversity in religion also mean equal rights? Or is equal rights possible at all?

On either the global or national stage, the majority does get away with things. On a global stage it seems to be Christians, and at the Indian National stage its probably the Hindus?

Buddhist, Jain, Baha'i are too few, I know that there are a few Baha'is in India and they have a magnificent temple in the form of the Lotus temple and they are a passive community who like to remain quiet in the face of injustice even (which is not attractive for me).

Buddhist and Jain religions not only protest, but specially Jain also have a legislative power in India which they exercise due to the benefit of being perceived as an offshoot of the Hindu religion. Perhaps this is the reason Jain people can actually get away most of the times as compared to the other most significant religion in India which is Islam.

Really? 😕 Is there any other country where the so-called "minorities" have more rights than Hindus.

Even if a Hindu speaks the truth, he's called a right-winger. So if someone kills one's family and you retaliate, you're intolerant, right?

How many Hindus were in Pakistan in 1948? How many are left today? How many temples were destroyed there?

Can a Hindu ever spew venom and hatred in Pakistan or any other country the way Owaisis do in India?

So, in India, missionaries converting poor illiterates through deceit and sops is ok, but reconversion to Hinduism is communal.

So, 8000 rupees is stolen from some random church by petty thieves, mind and it becomes a nationwide issue. POTUS then lectures India about it.

In Nepal, even the Muslims are demanding that it be declared a Hindu country to rein in the immoral Christians, and yet the Hindus are the ones who are intolerant in India, right?

Before this new age MSM propaganda, was there any retaliation by Hindus ever? What were the peace=loving Christians doing in GOA inquisition?

I didn't intend to hurt your religious feelings, but I guess as its India-forums :) I need to be careful in my examples ... lets then stick to Christians, Muslims, Jains and delete Hindu from the list :) as its too sensitive. No need to feel incited as I take my word back with unconditional apology.

If we talk about Myanmar, then we will see that the Rohingya is being persecuted by the ruling Buddhist majority, and as the Buddhists are in majority and holding power thus in their country they can get away with it. Similarly, in the global stage, as Christians hold power thus they can get away with things. That is what I meant.
