Why do Christians get away?

This is from a debate on another section.

When other communities protest, get something changed or banned or get violent, they are called intolerant and we have articles and televised debates on increasing fanaticism in those communities.

Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, all have faced this.

What about Christians? Why no hashtags, articles or frenzied headlines on them?

I saw how they were not discussed at all when they made AIB apologise to them. AIB did not apologise formally to anyone as it did to Christians. Even Modi did not reassure anyone as he exclusively reassured Christians and met them after a reported theft at a school in Delhi.

International media also remains silent on them. Why?

Don't tell me Christians never did anything at all or have no fanatic elements.

They never got the heavy handed backlash that other religious communities get!

What are the reasons for this obvious hypocrisy?

Thanks.

But it was national news.

I was surprised to see PM Modi especially give reassurances to them.

Even when terrorism is discussed people rarely talk of terrorism by Christians. Am I to believe no Christian ever indulged in terrorism?

Yeah...I've never heard of any conflicts or issues involving Christians..

Anyway, what makes you think Christians have created issues which aren't being given the limelight? (other than AIB and theft)

The north-eastern terrorism belt is all converted Christian. When reports of them killing some army men came out, I remember reading Indian Express, and only if you read the full story continued on the second page, would you know that they were Christian terrorists. All newspapers and news channels called them tribal/Naga.
Twitter though was abuzz. So there you go. I have read reports that the Naxal/Maoist belt is also mostly Christian but you wouldn't know that from their names. Just like that daft IAS officer Umashankar who despite being Christian, still availed of the dalit reservation.

not to a huge extent you see..jains,Buddhists,Sikhs..etc ..we obviously cannot assume 100% of these people arent criminals.
It's just that they are a very small minority.

Christians don't get away, we just are more powerful militarily and economically than the rest of the religions. Mostly because of the West and North.

Other religions are based in places which are either economically, militarily and intellectually challenged.
