Kareena wants to go grey

Today, most stars want to experiment with roles and Kareena Kapoor Khan is no different. "Of course! I am definitely open to playing a grey or negative role," she blurts out. Any reference points? "I would love to play Lisbeth Salander, a computer hacker and troubled investigator in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, based on the book by Stieg Larsson. I have read all his books as I love them."

She says she wouldn't mind dark, manipulative and ruthless roles. But nobody's offered her anything yet. She feels the reason is because "people feel I am the quintessential, glamorous Bollywood heroine and don't offer me something out of the ordinary!"

Anybody listening?

Too late!!! .. go and continue trying to get only those flowerpot roles with the buddhas ... how can she say that no one offers her any roles different from the quintessential (wow at least she can pronounce that word now!!!) ones? .. she has been offered all those kind of roles which she turned down for the dumb easy ones. And now that those easy ones didn't work and aren't even being offered anymore, she is whining. Too much man .. luck and pedigree takes you only so far, without hard work people reach a stage where they do nothing but whine and regret.

thankfully she is on the right track (or atleast thinking about it)
I always used to think she is one hela talented performer but limiting herself..
grey shade will suit her really well.. just like what Madhuri has done in Pukaar.
