CHAPTER 20

Asad was no more the same...he was a dead man...he goes to the office in the day and at night he goes to that farmhouse where he took zoya for their first date...it all began there...he would go and cry his heart out...zoya was imprinted in his life even when she was not there...

As usual he was walking in the indian restaurant to get his lassi...in memories of zoya...but it does not taste the same as she makes it...he smiled sadly... remembering how she was making indian for the whole staff...how could she have betrayed him...

"ayaan please ...its about zoya..." he heard a girl's voice and turned to see the boy who was in the pictures with zoya...he was cuddling another girl...

"what is going on??" asad leaned on to hear their conversation

"api says that zoya is no more the same...she is so silent...and is always crying...now she is having nightmares and cries like a hurt woolf in her sleep...if this continues she will get sick"

"obviously she will be...she loves fiercely and the blow was too much to take...humi i swear if i know who that asad is...i will kill him"

asad couldn't take it anymore "excuse me ...am sorry i heard your conversation...are you talking about zoya...zoya farooqui???"

"how do you know her??" humi asked

"i am asad ahmed khan...she was working in my company..."

"asad...are you the one who claimed to love her and broke her heart" ayaan was seething

"ye-" asad did not complete his sentence when ayaan too his collar and went crazy with fury...he started punching asad and yelling at him

"why...why did you break her heart?... you made her a crying corpse...you killed our ladli...she was raised like a princess...no one has ever let her shed a tear and you drowned her in a sea...you killed our zoya" humi kept stopping ayaan but he was unstoppable today...

"ayaan for zoya's sake" humi shouted and ayaan's punch was frozen in the air.

humi helped asad stand "who are you?"

"i am ayaan's fiancee and zoya's best friend as well as room mate...all the 3 of us stay in the same apartment."

asad was shocked... "but what about zoya and ayaan"

"SHE'S LIKE MY SISTER, WE GREW UP IN THE SAME HOUSE, OUR FATHER'S ARE BEST FRIEND AND SO ARE WE...please don't tell me that you broke with zoya because you thought that i and...cheee... how could you...she loved you so much"

Asad was torn now...he now understood that Tanveer manipulated him and he fell in her words destroying the only beautiful creature that brought happiness in his life...zoya always warned him about Tanveer so did the other staff members, he thought that she was a harmless flirt and all the fights with zoya was just banters...but obviously she had planned to remove her from his life...ya allah "those pictures and calls were misunderstood"

he looked at them with eyes full of regrets...

Ayaan and humi could not believe what asad told them...how tanveer plotted to separate him and zoya and he had fallen right into her trap...he told them how he had fallen into her trap...he told ayaan about the phone call and showed him the pictures...

"Where's zoya"

"she's gone"

"g-g-gone w-w-where"

"why are you acting caring now?? After breaking her heart..." ayaan spit out still in anger

"listen it was a misunderstanding ,please tell me where she is ???? I love her so much ...she's my life I need her to breath...I'll die without her...please please please" the couple watched as Asad Ahmed Khan, the owner of Dilshad Businesses crumpled on the restaurant's floor without caring for his reputation...And they saw a man in love dying in pure agony

"...back to Punjab."Humi replied in a trance "Her family took her back .They have arranged her marriage. she's never coming back."

"that's impossible, she cannot get married, she's only mine..."

"She's no more the same now. Zinda laash banke rehgayi. she's heartbroken and left everything on her family. Bauji does not know about her broken heart...he has fixed her wedding with a family friend she's getting married in 3 weeks."

"no no no that's impossible...how can she?"

but then he heard her pleading voice "don't leave me asad...marjaongi..." her tears...her pleads...her broken heart reflected on her face

I'll get her back in my life...

"main araha hoon, zoya... Aur iss baar hume koi alag nahin karpayega..."
