I've always played it safe: Tapur

24 Sep 2007, 0000 hrs IST,TNN

Tapur is prepared to handle controversies too.

In the seven years that she's been walking the ramp, model Tapur Chatterji has never had to deal with any controversies of any kind. But now that the Bengali babe has taken the plunge — she's one of the participants in Sony's reality dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Ja — how does she think she's going to deal with the controversies and catfights that might take place in the show, considering these reality shows always have a fair share of them?

"Yes, I'm sure this show will have its share of drama too but that's where your upbringing comes in. I'm sure that I'll handle any controversy that comes my way with dignity," says Tapur with a smile.

Considering the fact that she's been in the glam business for so long, how is it that she managed to stay away from the lure of acting on television or films? "I've always played it safe," says Tapur adding that she's never wanted to do anything that would put her career at risk.

But then, what made her change her mind for Jhalak...? "I was approached for the show a couple of times but I kept saying no because I have two left feet," she says. But it was a spur of the moment decision for Tapur to say yes to the show. "I had a meeting with the production guys and somehow, here I am!" laughs Tapur.

Now that almost three weeks of rehearsals are over, how is she faring as a dancer? "See I've never really danced. When my friends heard I'm taking part in this show, they were so surprised because I'm not the kind to dance even in a disc. But after this training, I'll just say one thing — I'm not so bad!" she adds. So now that she's taken the first step towards the small screen, would we see her acting on it as well?

"I'm not really looking at it as a step towards anything. I'm a non-dancer learning to be a dancer. It's a challenge and I'm trying to give my 100 per cent to it," she says. With late Hrishikesh Mukherji being her grandfather, it's natural to assume that she would join films someday. "I never say never!" she laughs.

Tapur's sis to follow her?

24 Sep 2007, 0302 hrs IST,TNN

Will Tupur also choose acting?

Model Tapur Chatterji's busy rehearsing fro Jhalak Dikhhla Ja . But twin sister seems more excited about Tapur's partcipation.
"Tupur is constantly checking how I'm doing. She's very happy I'm part of this dance show," says Tapur.
So, now that one sister has made her foray into TV, will we see the other twin do something similar soon? Maybe acting? Afterall, they are the grand-daughters of the great filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherji.

Don't make a mistake please

24 Sep 2007, 0245 hrs IST,TNN

Newspapers always tend to mix up Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy.
They carry Ronit's picture and call him Rohit or vice-versa. Sometimes if they've spotted Rohit at a party and want to say something about him they attribute it to Ronit.
Right now we are sure Ronit is all the more petrified of such mistakes. Afterall bhai Rohit is under fire for his flamboyance and casanova image moreso now after allegations of pinching actress Dia Mirza's bottom (something Rohit has vociferously denied).

Of course we do know that the brothers are very attached to each other willing to do anything for the other. Now that's some bhaigiri, ain't it?

Such entertainment!
By: Shaheen Parkar
September 28, 2007

The second season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has Longi Fernandes (Shveta Salve's choreographer and partner last season) as technical consultant, replacing last year's choice, choreographer Sandeep Soparrkar.
Interestingly, this year's celeb-choreographer pairing has several B-Town choreographers in the fray.

"Apart from Bollywood dances, there is hip-hop, Latin American and international dance forms as well," says Longi, as he makes his observations about the new participants.

Tapur Chatterjee – Feroz A Khan
Being a model, Tapur is full of poise; it's evident from her moves. Feroz, an upcoming choreographer, has to make sure her dancing is elegant too.

Prachi Desai – Deepak Singh
She is young and bubbly, though as Bani in Kasamh Se she plays a mature woman far beyond her years. Prachi has combined these contrasts in her moves and Deepak, who is a Bollywood choreographer, has to give her the right mix.

Mika Singh — Tanushree Rakshit
We've all heard of him and his antics. But he should remember Jhalak is a dance show and not a rock show. Tanushree has the onus of making him display his moves, not his personality.

Ronit Roy – Nicole Alvares
He may be on the older side, but he is a powerhouse. His zest to learn is unbelievable. Last year, Nicole was chef Sanjeev Kapoor's choreographer. I don't know whether Sanjeev actually learnt to dance, but Nicole did learn cooking!

Sandhya Mridul – Javed Sanadi
She's exuberant and outgoing and could prove to be the stunner. Javed's task is to make her moves as pleasing as possible.
Sonali Kulkarni — Tobby Fernandes
Tobby was last year's winning choreographer with Mona Singh. He worked real hard and now he has to go even further to make the actress perform in a neat manner.

Sudha Chandran – Uma Shankar
Her Jaipur foot can't stop her. She may be familiar with classical moves, but Uma is into Latin American dances and he has to match his moves with Sudha's spirit.

Aadesh Srivastava – Deepa Sachdeva (Tina)
He has loads of energy and despite nursing a fever, he has been at it. Aadesh is a performer and Tina has to make him rock with every step.

Mini Mathur – Himendra Singh (Hemu)
As Hemu is a teacher, he has made Mini his student. He has vast experience in professional teaching and Mini could spring a surprise.

Cyrus Broacha – Rozita Rajput
Cyrus must have been born talking! He is a non-stop entertainer, but he has actually danced with Rozita without opening his mouth!

Jay Bhanushali – Bindi Khare
Bindi was Akashdeep Sehgal's choreographer last year; if she can make him dance to her steps, Jay will be a delight to watch. He is incredible and wants to get everything right.

Mir Ranjan Negi – Marischa Fernandes
The hockey coach could well be saying Chak De! to all. He is not from the entertainment world but Marischa and he could crack the goalpost.

Tusshar shakes a leg with dad

Tonight's first episode has Tusshar Kapoor shaking a leg with father Jeetendra. The yesteryear actor, along with Urmila Matondkar and Shiamak Davar, comprises the jury. Tonight's episode will have only the six ladies shaking a leg, while Saturday's episode will see all the men in action.

'TRPs don't bother me anymore'

Prachi Desai tells BT that fluctuating TRPs don't give her sleepless nights.

HARSHADA REGE

From crying on screen to dancing now... are you enjoying it?

• This is a great change. It has turned out to be a great experience. We did the technical rehearsals recently and it looks very good. I am really excited about performing. People will get to see another aspect of me, but my sole intention is to have fun on Jhalak Dikhhla Ja.

How tough is the competition?

• I know that we are here for a competition, but to tell you the truth when we are performing, there's hardly any rivalry between us. We are 12 of us and though we do get support from our parents, they are not the only ones cheering the performers. When someone is about to perform, the other contestants and choreographers are equally encouraging. Of course it's a competition and every one's giving it their best shot, but there's no petty politics.

Any mishaps during the rehearsals?

• Thankfully, there have been none with me. I was lucky to get Bollywood dance in the first week, so I had a lucky escape. But from what I have seen, others have had quite a few falls. And I am sure I'll be among them too once we try our hand at samba, rumba, cha-cha and the other dance forms. But I am excited about learning them.

There have been reports that the TRPs of Kasamh Se have been falling?

• TRPs don't bother me anymore. When we started the serial, I used to get hassled, but now I have realised that there are going to be ups and downs. Of course, when the TRPs go down we do get cautious. But we know that we have a certain amount of audience and they will definitely come back to the show, it's just a matter of time and new twists and turns.

Are you happy with the way it's shaping up?

• I have no complaints, it's been doing very well. With TV shows, you have to be consistent. People watch your show everyday on TV and yet you have to grab the audiences' interest everyday. That's a tough job, considering that most shows go on for a long time. In case of Kasamh Se too, the show has been on air for more than a year and we have been successful in holding the audiences' interest.

You have Ronit Roy for company in Jhalak... too. What's your equation like with him?

• It's great to have him there. I didn't know anyone other than him here, so it was good to have him around in the initial days. Now, of course, I know the other contestants too. In Kasamh Se we play very serious characters, but here it's all fun. But the camaraderie is the same. But I must say that he takes dancing as seriously as acting.

Any plans to sign more shows?

• I want to do so much, but there's no time. Kehte hain na, jab bhagwan deta hai to chappar phad ke deta hai. My mom keeps telling me about the offers that are coming in, but I have very little time on hand. I am doing these two shows, besides that I am also doing a short story for a show and some ads. I wish I could do much more because there is interesting stuff happening. Right now, I wish there were more hours in a day.

Gears up for competition on weekdays

A.L. Chougule
Sony Entertainment Television which shifted its focus from fiction to reality TV, is now gearing up to revamp its weekday prime time fiction band...
Reality TV is like a one-day series that delivers instant eyeballs for a short duration whereas fiction is like a Test series that woos viewers over a longer period and leaves a lasting impact. Which is why fiction is the main bloodline of general entertainment (GE) channels and ignoring it can cost loss of viewership and revenue. Sony Entertainment Television which shifted its focus from fiction to reality TV and gradually lost its number 2 position has learnt its lesson the hard way and is now gearing up to revamp its weekday prime time fiction band with the launch of AmberDhara and a couple of more shows in the next few months. Also, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 2 that's replacing Indian Idol from this week will help Sony consolidate its position further on the weekend band.

While Sony's weekday prime time has had no big success in the last one year and none of its properties got thumbs up from viewers, the channel's weekend band has however been delivering good numbers, thanks to Indian Idol, Boogie Woogie, CID and Comedy Circus. In fact, it is the weekend programming that has helped Sony get somewhat decent share of group rating points (GRPs) among GE channels. Over the last five months Indian Idol 3 has been Sony's channel driver show. Besides being sampled by more than 77 million viewers, the show boosted the TRPs of Sony's other weekend properties, so much so that it propelled Sony to number 1 spot on weekends with a share of 28 per cent against 27 per cent each of Star Plus and Zee. Sony's GRPs have also had a decent rise from 105 in April to 150 in August.

But what continues to be Sony's biggest worry is its weekday prime time fiction band. "We haven't had big success on weekdays for some time. We lost our way somewhere and the premise of some of the shows was also not right. But we have always tried our best to be different from our competitors. Instead of copying others we believe in setting new trends in programming. Some of our shows have not worked for us but if we believe in a show and see potential in it we give it a longer lease of life. Virrudh is not showing big numbers yet we believe that it has the potential to live up to our expectations," says Sony's executive vice-president and business head Albert Almeida, adding, "Being innovative and different from others has been our core strength and our new show AmberDhara is yet another example of Sony setting new trends in programming."

Four years ago it was Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, a story of an underdog ugly duckling who overcomes her shortcomings, obstacles and challenges in her journey to find her true love, which stood out in the clutter of saas-bahu family dramas and delivered eyeballs for Sony. The scene has not changed even now with innumerable family dramas still calling the shots on Star Plus and Zee. AmberDhara which is the story of conjoined twins and a celebration of human spirit against all odds comes with the same promise of being a potential clutter-breaker show. "It is an unique concept which has the potential to break new frontier in the fiction genre on Indian television. It is fresh, youthful, entertaining and has the slice of life," says Almeida.

Being distinctive and different, according to Sanjay Upadhyay, Sony's creative head and vice-president, new programming development, does not mean Sony is not a mass channel. "Our primary audience is the masses, especially women, who constitute big chunk of viewers. While being different, our endeavour is to tell stories of human and emotional elements that easily connect with mass eyeballs," says Upadhyay. In Upadhyay's view there is no taking away from the fact that women protagonists rule the roost on television. "So our shows too will have women as protagonists. But our protagonists will have enough space to move around and assert themselves unlike in other shows where they are either 'devis' or doormats," he adds.

The new fictional properties to be launched in the next couple of months, according to Almeida, will have Sony's grain of story telling. "They will have a different point of view with relatable stories and characters," he says. Even a few shows Ekta is working on for Sony will adhere to the channel's requirements. "Ekta understands Sony's DNA. The shows she makes for us are quite different from her shows for other channels," he adds. Almeida is quite confident that the second season of Jhalak... will be a channel-driver on weekends. "Jhalak has stood out for its unique concept and format. In the first season the show was viewed by 41 million viewers with an average TRP of 4.3. The finale was watched by 20 per cent of households in the Hindi speaking market," he elaborates.

Jhalak's second season has 12 celebrities instead of eight that was in the first season and therefore will run on for 13 weeks. "The show has become bigger and better and the dance and drama will be taken to a higher level. The format has been tweaked a bit for better viewer engagement. With more celebrities, newer dance styles, new-look sets and new hosts, the show will deliver rocking performance," says Almeida. In fact, he is so upbeat with the two new launches and the forthcoming shows that Almeida says before the year end he is targeting 100-plus prime time GRPs for Sony. "That's a fairly achievable target," he says confidently.

Move over singing shows, it's the season for dance shows now. Star One is back with Nach Baliye 3 and Sony is showcasing Jhalak Dikla Ja 2. However, if one were to go by the first episodes and the promos aired, then clearly Jhalak 2 wins hands down. They have a classier ensemble of performers — be it Ekta's blue-eyed baby, Prachi Desai, small screen superstar, Ronit Roy, actress Sonali Kulkarni or even Chak De coach, Mir Ranjan Negi, who has SRK rooting for him. He is clearly the surprise factor and Khan too expresses his subtle amusement at this.

While jhalak has 12 participants — each of whom has been given a choreographer — Nach Baliye has a team of 10 couples. Surprisingly, last year's Jhalak performers, Pooja and her boyfriend Hanif are taking part in this show. When Pooja was voted out of the previous show on account of her poor dancing skills, what sense does it make to sign her for this show? This is nothing but a sign of desperation as the channel has obviously not managed to rope in the best of stars.

Nach Baliye has a very ordinary bunch of performers who do not have the glam factor to keep the viewers hooked week after week. But Prem Kamath, vice-president, content and communication, Star India, the channel hosting Nach Baliye, is prepared for the inevitable comparisons. "Season 3 of Nach is bigger and better and that's the reason why we gave it a much bigger platform. As the show settles down, people will realise how big the show is," he insists.

But the show is already ridden with controversies even before it has taken off. Juhi Parmar, who was asked to participate by the channel had to initially back off because unlike the other contestants who were there with their boyfriends/spouses, Juhi was single. But looks like the channel has had a change of heart and have roped in Juhi, who will be finding her onscreen dance partner through a swayamvar-like contest — truly, even gimmicks are getting innovative these days. In terms of sheer drama, Nach Baliye overshadows Jhalak. There was a catfight of sorts between Rakhi Sawant and Kashmira Shah. Rakhi accused her of passing snide remarks (about the reverse boob job), an embarrassed Kash denied the same and finally gave in later. The two item girls then kissed and hugged for the camera.

And as far as the judges are concerned, Nach has the graceful Vaibhavi Merchant and Isha Koppikar along with the podgy David Dhawan, who had Salman and Govinda specially visit the studio to root for him. Jhalak has oomphmati Urmila Matondkar, Jumping Jack Jeetu — an obvious sign of Ekta's proximity with Sony, and Shiamak Davar.

Albert Almeida, executive vice-president and business head, Sony Entertainment Television, the channel that's hosting Jhalak is of the opinion that the second season has a lot to offer. "We have a wide mix of top celebrities who are devoting a lot of time to the show despite their other commitments. The second season has got bigger and better with 12 celebrities instead of eight in the first season. The format has been tweaked a bit for better viewer engagement," he adds.

Mr Bajaj reveals his true colours
Tadka maar ke! Ronit Roy
Mr Bajaj reveals his true colours
Ronit Roy is proving to be electrifying on the dance floor.

'Jhooma dala!' was judge Urmila Matondkar's verdict after his breathtaking moves on the track Jhoom Barabar Jhoom in Sony's Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa 2.

Who would've expected that of the staid Mr Bajaj? In tonight's episode, all male men participants groove to salsa, and Mr Bajaj certainly proved a he's a force to reckon with!

Cyrus hates dancing
30 Sep 2007, 0000 hrs IST,HARSHADA REGE ,TNN

'My family doesn't want me at home.'

If it's Cyrus Broacha you are talking to, don't expect to get a single straight answer. This funny man doesn't believe in getting serious at all.

But that's what sets him apart from others who take themselves a bit too seriously. This bawa has you in splits within a few minutes. So, here are some whacky answers that he came up with when we asked him about wearing his dancing shoes for Sony's Jhalak Dikkhla Ja .

From being a VJ to dancing. Why this diversion?

That's because my family doesn't want me in the house so they have forced me to take part in this dance competition!

My only aim right now is to get through the first round and not be the first one to be kicked out. Actually I hate dancing and the clothes that I am made to wear make me look like a bird.

Whom do you consider serious competition?

I am the worst! They think I am the idiot in the group. But I am sure I'll beat them all. In fact, Ronit, Aadesh and the other guys try to trip me when I am dancing. I am sure they consider me a threat!

Do you plan to continue dancing after this?

No way! I am only doing this because I need to make more money. If someone can please tell my boss to give me a pay hike, I won't have to put myself through this torture.

But no I don't want to dance after this. In fact Shiamak Davar doesn't want me to be in the same city as him. My partner can handle me only because she is a dog trainer and she whacks me with a newspaper everytime I don't do well. In fact now I am scared of newspapers!

With your brilliant sense of humour, do you plan to make a comedy film someday?

In fact, my friend Kunal Vijaykar and I have made a two minute film, but no one's willing to buy it!

Who do you consider to be good dancers among the present 12 competitors?

I think Sandhya Mridul is quite good. I am not going to talk about the guys at all.

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Entertainment/TV_Buzz/Cyr us_hates_dancing/articleshow/2414431.cms

Jeetendra will now be seen occupying judges' chair in Jhalak Dikhhla Ja.

As the first episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Ja was being aired, people wondered if judge Jeetendra would be a little partial towards Prachi Desai and Sudha Chandran, since the two star in beti Ekta Kapoor's shows.
Jeetendra of course was more than generous with his compliments for the two women, but he wasn't biased. That's because Jeetusaab was equally generous when it came to the other contestants as well. Now that's jumping Jack for you!
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Entertainment/TV_Buzz/Wil l_Jeetu_be_partial/articleshow/2414341.cms

What was your reaction when you were offered Jhalak Dikhla Jaa? My best friend Kunal, my wife Ayesha and my dad told me "Broacha, don't do this. It's not funny.. it's stupid." But I'd just read a book about how to do things which you're not com- fortable about. So I took this up and now I feel quite stupid. How's it going so far? (Sighs) Amazingly, incredibly disgusting. My parents have asked me not to come home. I've got to find a place to stay. That bad? Yeah, I'm bored because no one talks much. They're very com- petitive and scared. Mika is okay but the others are edgy It's , . fun seeing them get tense. How are the performances? The girls are very good. But the boys are ugly and bad dancers. I bet the jury and the public will choose the girls, and drop all the boys. How would you rate yourself as a dancer? (Thinks hard) On a scale of 1 to 50, I'd say 3.. no, 2. The first round wasn't so bad but the sec- ond round is quite tough. By the way I've planned a holiday with , Ayesha in October. You're that sure of being voted out by then? Look, if I'm not out by October 20, I'm suing the channel. And I mean it! The MTV Lycra Awards are on October 25 and I have to be there. You're serious? Yes, I am. Mr (Sidharth) Basu, kind man that he is, has prom- ised to fix things. How's your chemistry with your choreographer Rozita? Very good. True, there's very lit- tle she can do with my limited talent. But she keeps licking my ears.. that really has to stop. I'm a married man! Jokes apart, she's a lovely girl. What else are you working on? I'll be acting in Kunal Vijaykar's directorial debut, Fruit and Nut, with Boman Irani. (Sadly) Then there's CNN IBN's The Week That Was, that nobody watches, MTV which nobody understands, and radio which nobody listens to. And now, this ugly dance show. Any other reality shows in the pipeline? Yes, I'll be a judge on one of them. Things should take shape by the end of the year.

Throwing his wait around?

Mika kept everybody waiting for almost four hours for shooting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2's first episode
Back to Section Stories Posted On Sunday, September 30, 2007

Mumbai Mirror Bureau

More often than not, Mika has been in the news for wrong reasons. The latest on Daler Mehendi's brother is that he is giving a tough time to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2's team. The show went on-air this Friday.Mika has been constantly reporting late - be it for the rehearsals or for the actual shooting. On Wednesday, the singer turned up four hours late for shooting the show's first episode.

Mika with his Jhalak... choreographer Tanushree Rakshita
A source from the set, on condition of anonymity, says, "The shoot was scheduled for 9 a.m. but it started only at 1 p.m. The delay was due to Mika who arrived late. All the other contestants had arrived an hour before the scheduled time. Sony's staff was continuously calling him, but the calls went unanswered. There was no option but to wait for Mika. When he finally arrived, everyone heaved a sigh of relief."

On arriving late, Mika told the organisers that he was stuck in a traffic jam due to the Indian cricketers' homecoming after the Twenty20 final.

The source adds, "Everybody on the set arrived on time despite the chaos. No doubt there were traffic jams on the way but not to an extent which will delay a person by four hours. Mika should have started early to reach on time."

It's also heard that Mika has been throwing a lot of attitude on the JDJ 2 set. "One can understand a bit of arrogance if it happens once in a while, but with Mika it is very often," says the source.

Last year when Mika forcibly kissed item-girl Rakhi Sawant at his birthday party even his brother Daler had sided Rakhi. When asked for his reaction to the incident, Daler had said, "Party kissing is not Indian culture. Rather, it is an unwelcome intrusion into somebody's personal life."

Mika was unavailable for comment. We also sent him a SMS, to which he did not reply.

Ekta's grand party--have a look

Here is a look at Ekta Kapoor's Friday night party
Back to Section Stories Posted On Sunday, September 30, 2007

Mumbai Mirror Bureau

Bhai ho toh aisa: Ronit Roy with younger brother Rohit Roy, Teen deviyaan: Amita Chandekar , Reeva Bubbar and Gauri Pradhan, Pink it! Sakshi Talwar and Neelam Mehra, Are we on? Narayani Shastri and Gaurav Chopra,
When Ekta Kapoor throws a party, every one makes it a point to be there. The address was new, but the party's high-spirits was in keeping with all the previous party's thrown by Ms Kapoor. The entire industry made its presence felt at Ekta's new house at Juhu. The pink-themed bash, which started well after midnight, was a celebration for three reasons - Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii will soon be seven years old, Kasautii Zindagi Kay has completed six years and Ekta's blue-eyed girl Prachi Desai's post-birthday bash.

Surprisingly, Ekta's filmy gang comprising Anurag Basu, Apoorva Lakhia, Sanjay Gupta and Urmila Matondkar were absent.

A lot of Balaji loyalists like Smriti Irani, Shweta Tiwari, Aamna Shariff, Iqbal Khan, Ram and Gautami Kapoor were also not present at the party. Rajeev Paul came without his better half Delnaaz.

The party gave a great chance to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Nach Baliye contestants who got to practise their dance steps while having a great time.

Karan Patel's partner, Amita Chandelkar was seen practising her steps for Nach Baliye 3 in front of the washroom. On the dance floor, she was again seen shaking a leg with Vikas Sethi's wife, Amita.

Jhalak… participants Prachi Desai and Ronit Roy were only too excited to meet each other at the gate.

Jay Bhanushali and Prachi were quite exhausted as they came for the party after attending Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa's launch party. Although one of the reasons for the bash was to celebrate Prachi's birthday, she was not her usual energetic self. A case of too much partying, Prachi?

Ronit was seen (as usual) with his bag. He left early with wife Neelam, who is pregnant. Ronit's chote bhai Rohit promptly followed him along with wife Mansi.

Manav Gohil and wife Shweta, actress Neelam Kothari, Bunty Walia, Suniel Shetty and wife Mana also left the party early. Cezanne Khan preferred to hang out with the boys.

Poonam Narula, Anuj Saxena and Suvarna Jha were busy competing with each other for the worst-dressed crown. Saakshi Tanwar is still under her on screen character, Parvati's influence. She was wearing a pink salwar kameeze. (But she did follow the party's theme!).

Filmi chakkar: Sunil Shetty and wife Mana, Manish and wife Poonam, Aaja nach le: Prachi Desai is glad to see Ronit Roy, Rasik Dave and wife Ketki
Ketki and Rasik Dave danced all evening and gave a complex to the younger actors who were inhibited to hit the dance floor.

Kiran Karmarkar, better known as Om in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii was present at the party, but he did not mingle with anybody, while his wife Rinku was seen grooving with Urvashi Dholakia.

Eijaz Khan was also trying hard to stay away from the crowd.

Although Aman Varma was there at the party after his patch-up with Ekta, he looked quite uncomfortable. A tipsy Salil Ankola was wearing a pink shirt. Roshni Chopra too had a rocking time while her husband Siddharth Anand was busy taking care of her.

Of all the guests, Chetan Hansraj was one actor who took the party's pink theme quite seriously. He was busy asking people why they did not follow the theme. Indian Idol participant cum actor Amit Tandon was his usual self. He was busy showing off his tattoos and biceps!

Narayani Shastri and Gaurav Chopra came together and kept everyone guessing about their relationship's status.

Reeva Bubbar's boyfriend Ken Ghosh was seen chatting with Gauri Pradhan and Amita Chandelkar.

Ekta was seen with tequila-filled syringes, which she good-naturedly forced all the guests to have. Naman Shaw was her partner in crime.
