Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor keep Christmas simple, Riddhima spills the frame

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni gave a glimpse into the Kapoor family’s Christmas celebrations by sharing a picture on social media. The post featured her mother Neetu Kapoor, brother Ranbir Kapoor, sister in law Alia Bhatt, and daughter Samara. The image offered a look at a private family gathering and drew attention online without being overly celebratory.

Sharing the photo on Instagram, Riddhima reflected on the meaning of the festival and family togetherness. Her caption read, “Christmas isn’t about the gifts under the tree, but the people gathered around it. So grateful for moments like these and a family that makes every season brighter! Meanwhile, an update on Love And War has also surfaced. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal. Reports suggest the makers plan to release the first glimpse in January 2026, though no official confirmation has been issued. A source quoted by Mid Day said, “The idea always was that the team will put out an asset in January to tease the audience about the world they have in store.”

Another report indicated that the project is running behind schedule. Bollywood Hungama quoted an insider saying the film is about 40 days behind. The source added, “The earliest it can now be released is in the month of June 2026.” The delay is also aimed at avoiding a box office clash with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown ups.

Reports also say that Bhansali has wrapped up the Mumbai schedule and will move to Italy next. The remaining 20 day shoot is expected to include key climax portions. A Filmfare source said, “Around ten days were filmed before Diwali, and the final schedule is expected to take place by December 2025 in Italy. The team is eyeing an Eid 2026 release.”

Alia Bhatt earlier spoke about the film in an interview, saying, “I, as an audience, am more excited to see him and Ranbir collaborate again.” She added, “Vicky and I coming together again, Ranbir and Vicky created magic with Sanju.”
