Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated Christmas with close family, sharing glimpses of the festive gathering on Instagram. The intimate home celebration included Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and her daughter Samara Sahni.

A large Christmas tree decorated with bells and lights was visible, with one bell personalised with the name “Raha.” While Alia did not reveal Raha’s face, she was seen playing with her alongside Shaheen, and the sisters were twinning in red. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also shared pictures from the gathering, featuring Ranbir, Alia, Neetu, and Samara. She wrote, “Christmas isn’t about the gifts under the tree, but the people gathered around it. So grateful for moments like these and a family that makes every season brighter! On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, released in December 2023. He is slated to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Ranbir is also part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, with the first part scheduled for Diwali 2026 and the second part for Diwali 2027.

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra and will next appear in Love and War, marking her second collaboration with Ranbir after Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva. She is also starring in Shiv Rawali’s spy film Alpha, which will be a part of the YRF Spy Universe.
