Part 12

Taani

I was shocked... I got out of there in the nick of time... how could they... leave a bomb... how could Rey have done something like that...

"Taani are you ok?" Sandra asked...

"Yeh... I'm fine... Sandra listen to me... I don't care how much this fashion week means to you but its dangerous around here, I need you to go home... please" Taani begged...

"Ok... I'll go home... come on ill help you into the car..."Sandra said helping Taani up...

"I'm fine. ... I need to stay here you go..." Taani said to her...

"But?" Sandra asked..

"Don't question me just go please... get out of here..." Taani said...

"OK...goodbye.." Sandra said with a smile...

"Thanks for everything!" Taani said as Sandra nodded she got into the car and drove off...

"Ok now I need to see what is going on!" Taani said talking to herself...

Rey

Rey stood up slowly he walked towards the car, his mind buzzing of all the thoughts of Taani, the way he chose her to put the gun into her bag, the way they danced together that night... when he kidnapped her the fear in her eyes... when they nearly kissed in the warehouse, when Rishi hit her... At the hotel when they shared a real kiss... it all seemed so far away now... like he was remembering it from a long time ago... Rey had turned into the street but he could not go any further... they cops were blocking off the street... Just then someone pushed past him... he heard the name Rahul Arora and he was snapped back to reality... Rahul... Rey took one last look at the car... and sped off towards the building...

Khushi

Shit! What just happened? There was chaos everywhere. .. people running, she had lost sight of Arjun and Zoya...

Khushi was at the site where the car had blown up... she took out her phone...

"Hey Arjun!!" Khushi shouted in the phone...

"HEY Where are you?"Arjun shouted back in the phone there was noise from both sides...

"I'm at the site, a car just blew up... look I'm going to go back to the building... I need to find Rahul Arora" Khushi said, she accidently pushed a man who was standing near her...

She made her way back to the building... she went inside... it was quiet...she took out her gun...just in case...she also took off her stilettos it was bound to attract unwanted attention...

Arnav

Arnav had just arrived when the blast happened he prayed that no one was hurt... the front entrance was empty so he made his way inside... someone was walking down the hall with a gun... he could recognise this person anywhere...

"Khushi!"he whispered as loud as he could he didn't want to startle her...

"Khushi!" He whispered again... but she was getting further away, he decided to follow her hopefully she won't shoot him by accident he prayed...

Khushi

The place was quiet, too quiet... where is everyone? She wondered...She made her way to the main party area what she saw scared her, two masked men... right at their feet was Rahul Aurora, still alive but she had a funny feeling not for long, she saw something move next to her, she was about shoot but she realised it was Arnav!

"What the hell are you doing here?" She whispered loudly...

"Having your back!!" Arnav said as he noticed the scene in the room...

"We can just go in there; there are two on two... that could be bad..." Khushi said...

"We have to do something...What the hell... its Taani..."Arnav said pointing across the room...

"What?" Khushi said looking over... it was Taani... what is she doing here? Did they still have her captive? But she looked like she was hiding...

Taani

I found them... I have to stop them, why are they after Rahul Aurora? What is going on? She wondered...

She couldn't tell them apart with their masks on... but she knew that the one with the gun was Rishi, his hand was steady and un moving, and he is the only one who seemed to be able to handle shooting someone...

She looked over to the other side for a distraction... She saw Khushi and Arnav, her heart skipped she smiled at them... they smiled back...

Taani had a plan... she signalled to them, they understood...

5...4...3...2...1...

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!"Arnav Yelled... Guns blazing both him and Khushi came out of their hiding places... Their guns pointed at the boys...

Both Rey and Sammy pointed their guns at Khushi and Arnav, while Rishi had his gun still pointed at Rahul...

Taani was about to come in, but what she saw scared her, it was Rey he came up behind Khushi and had his gun on her...

"Drop your gun..." Rey whispered...Khushi felt Rey's presence behind her...

"I said drop the gun!!" Rey warned both Arnav and Khushi looked at each other...

Taani looked around she needed to get help...

Arnav lowered his gun... Khushi still had hers up...

"STOP!!" Taani shouted... Everyone turned to looked at her... Khushi saw this as an opportunity, she shot Rishi who still had his gun pointed at Rahul...Rishi fell to the ground...

Rey dropped his gun as Khushi pointed her gun at him... But he wasn't looking at her he walked passed her towards Taani... Sammy was also shocked looking at Taani...

Arnav realised that they were both looking at Taani, The second mask man was walking towards Taani...

"Stop!! I'm warning you... don't take another step..." Arnav said... his gun pointed at the back of Rey...

Khushi didn't understand either... what is going on...

Rey wasn't listening his eyes was locked with Taani's... he kept moving forward!

"I SAID STOP!!" Arnav shouted... Why wasn't Taani running away? Rey wasn't armed...

BANG!... Rey fell to the floor...

"NOOO!!! That's my Brother!" Sammy shouted... He shot Arnav... who dogged the bullet...

Khushi shot Sammy... he also fell to the floor...

Taani was in shock... She looked at Rey on the floor... Blood was oozing from his body...

She dropped next to him on the floor... Tears spilling from her eyes...

Just then Zoya and Arjun raced into the room... They took one look at the bodies all around them...

Arnav made his way over to Taani...
