What do you mean "surviving with one liver"? 😕 Humans normally have one liver in the first place, not any more. I think you guys are confusing the liver with the kidneys. Humans have 2 kidneys and it is possible to survive with one kidney yes.
Amber and Dhara have only ONE liver between them. They do not have any more livers. If Amber loses the liver she will die. And the same for Dhara.
However, the liver is capable of regeneration. It can regenerate itself even if only, say 30%, is left after an operation. I do not know but perhaps it maybe possible to divide the liver between the two sisters separately. The only other option I can think of is if one them get the liver and the other receives a liver transplant from another source. 🤔I must say AD's case is relatively simple compared to real-life conjoined twins where more than one vital organ is usually involved.
