This is one of the most debatable topics here. Depends on how you define superstar. I think she has some aspects of a superstar. She's had more mass appeal than any Bollywood star has ever had.

Maybe nowadays, but Sridevi was an absolute legend. There has never been an actress like her. Madhuri was successful too, but Sridevi was stronger and she was successful in the North and South. Aishwarya has had the most mass appeal, but she wasn't as powerful of an actress as Sridevi or Mads. Plus, I feel like standards are lowering for actresses too.
