Some words to describe Swara's emotions from when she entered the courtyard to her father's rejection.

I step into the courtyard anxious to share all,
Having rushed to meet my loved ones,
Confused, I watch my wedding decorations being stripped away,
"Alas," I wonder, "what could have happened?"
With a heavy heart I walk towards my home,
Seeing the remains of a lit agni,
My soul shudders, ... what... why... how...
Dreading the answers
Yet I rush home to tell my loved ones I am fine
I rush home to share all
Mostly I rush home to seek my parents protection
To seek their assurance that all be right
Instead angry eyes stare at me
That when it comes to choosing
I shall be overlooked
That my pain, my sorrow has no place
Staring at the person I cherish the most
I realise I am no one, rejected once again
I never was and shall never be
Nothing was real
Dejected, confused, I leave... lost
I thought I had found everything,
But in reality I had lost everything.
