Episode name: CID in Agra
Air Date: 25th June, 2015
The episode begins at the Taj Mahal in the beautiful city of Agra. A couple, Gaurav and Nisha is enjoying the scenic beauty of the place, clicking selfies. A lady is sketching the Taj from a small distance behind them. Suddenly a man comes behind Gaurav , asks him not to turn back but to listen. He tells Gaurav that his life is in danger. The couple moves away.
The team arrives at the chawl and asks for Ashok , the rickshaw-wala. The people tell them that his wife spoke Hindi well. On reaching his house, they find his wife who is a foreigner. They tell her that her friend Cynthia had sent them to speak to her. She agrees that she had told her that there was to be a murder. She narrates what she'd heard where her husband had demanded 3 lakhs from the caller because it was a big target. She hadn't complained to the police because she was already on the run for drug trafficking. She takes the team to find Ashok. Ashok starts running but after a long time, Abhijeet sir catches him. He threatens his wife for revealing to the information to them. He then tells the team that he was not to murder anyone but a man named Ravi was to do so. He was just getting the money. He says that a Kanya had given the money. On dialling the number, Daya sir reports the number to be switched off. Ashok then tells that a man named Gaurav was going to be murdered and was staying at Hotel Ilara. Ashok takes them to Ravi's house. On getting into his room, they find Ravi dead in his bed.
The other team reaches Hotel Ilara and enquire about Gaurav Kumar and Nisha. The receptionist tells that they'd gone out. She gives them their phone numbers. Both their numbers are out of reach. ACP sir requests the photograph of the two. By the time, ACP sir is informed of Ravi's death.
His fingers were blackened and it seemed like he'd touched something poisonous and the poison had travelled through his body leading to his death. Daya sir finds something that tells them that the killer must have been scratched. They come out and check everyone's hands. Then one man tells that a thief had come once through the terrace. Daya sir finds blood drops and they follow it which leads them to another house. The owner tells that a young lady stayed in a room. They check the room and find a series of sketches drawn from the same angle. The lady's name is Maya.
The scene changes to Maya in a manual rickshaw, telling someone to stay wherever he/she was and that she was coming. She then gets down and comes to a place where he is met by a man who tells that the two were inside. She reaches inside and finds the couple. She puts on her glove and picks up a spray bottle and gets gradually near Gaurav when he is alone. Just when she is about to spray, Nisha pulls him away to show him a piece. While he goes to fetch the shop owner, she sprays it over the dome of the model and hides but later Nisha refrains from taking that because of it being too costly. They finally settle to a model and when Gaurav is alone and hands him a paper which again warns him that his life is in danger. The man at the counter asks him to meet him by the Agra Fort and that he'd tell him everything.
The teams comes to the Taj Mahal and we have a light moment here. ACP sir then spots the place from which the sketch has been made. Few photographers swarm at them to click pictures and the team asks for their help. One of them shows the pictures where Maya is present. Sachin suddenly tells that they have to leave from the place and shows them a photo of Chitrole with 2 foreigners. The photographers tell them that he had called himself a guide and come there with 20 to 25 foreigners. Abijeet sir finds a picture where Ravi is standing behind Gaurav, apparently telling him something. Nikhil and Jaya run in and tell that that Gaurav's phone has been switched on and that it was a Agra Fort.
Gaurav and Nisha are at Agra Fort. While Nisha starts to admire the beauty of the place, Gaurav sneaks out from her in search of the man. Maya also reaches there. Maya once gets an opportunity to spray it again, but it misses again as Gaurav finally spots the man. The man is followed by Gaurav who is in turn followed by Maya who is determined to remove the man from her way. On reaching the main road, the man shows Gaurav an envelope and ushers him to come forward. Maya was very close to Gaurav.
The CID team reaches the spot just on time and as they attempt to send Gaurav to the hospital, Maya runs away. Purvi and Jaya run after her but she escapes.
They take him to the hospital. After gaining consciousness, Gaurav thanks them. Outside, the man tells that he is a friend of Ravi and that Ravi had told him to warn Gaurav. He gives ACP sir a photograph, clicked from behind the Taj Mahal. The photo also had a strange marking on it at a certain point.
They reach the place and ACP sir finds the spot. Daya sir starts to dig it out and finds the driving licence (which they called it a visiting card). ACP sir asks Purvi to find out from the Delhi number there. Nikhil digs further and they unearth the skeleton of a man who turns out to be Manish Kumar after Purvi conveys the information that he had come to Agra on his honeymoon and had gone missing. His wife Payal was questioned but she was left free. The photo shows the current Nisha as Payal.
Sachin sir is knocking at their door and one man tells that they were on the terrace. So the entire team goes to the terrace and they find Nisha struggling to breathe, her fingers blackened. She tells Maya's name and falls dead. They find Maya almost drowned in the swimming pool but they revive her. She tells that Gaurav had tried to kill her and that he was hiding. They catch Gaurav who tries to tell otherwise but confesses when Maya interjects. He confesses that Ravi had told him all about Nisha's fraud at the Taj Mahal and from then he had tried to kill Nisha herself. He says that he had then gotten the aid from Maya to kill Ravi himself and then to kill Nisha. ACP sir delivers the death sentence.
Nikhil brings in a small lad who requests help from CID team to find his grandparents who were lost in Mathura.
