Prologue

"I have informed the caterers about the changes. Saket, you need to see the flower arrangements. Jiji, Ma asked you to check your lehenga and the jewellery that you will be wearing tomorrow. Papa, I am leaving now."

"Khu baby, you need to take a breath", replied Saket only to get a glare from her elder sister.

"Shut up and stop calling me by that name."

"What's so wrong in it Khu baby? Isn't it cute big sis?" A winking Saket received a half-eaten apple thrown at him.

"Will you guys stop? Saket, why do you call her that when she gets irritated? And Khushi, where are you going?" Payal Gupta decided to make peace between her ever-so-fighting siblings Khushi Gupta and Saket Gupta.

"Jiji, I have classes", replied Khushi while arranging her books.

"Khushi, are you serious? Tomorrow is my engagement," sighed Payal.

"Jiji, I will return by noon. I really need to take the class", said Khushi with a smile and rushed out muttering a bye'.

"The Great Professor Khushi Gupta never skips a class", Saket said grinning.

"Chhotay, Tomorrow is Akki's engagement."

"Thanks for reminding me Di."

"Then why don't you get your bum off the sofa and do something useful."

"It is Bhai's engagement. Not mine. What useful thing are you suggesting me to do?"

"You can check the arrangements."

"Hari Prakash is in charge of it since the last time I checked."

"Then get some ice-cream for me."

"What the!"

"Rani Saheba, I wil get it for you." Shyam Jha decided to intervene the interesting conversation going on between Anjali Jha and her chhotay Arnav Singh Raizada.

"Why are you troubling him, bitiya? Chhotay has returned after a year", Devyani Singh Raizada commented in defence of her youngest grandson.

"This is the reason I love you so much, my sweetheart," Arnav said hugging his grandmother.

"Don't pamper this lazybones so much Dadi." Akash Singh Raizada hi-five-d with Anjali.

"I hate you guys. You know that, right?"

"Of course, dramebaaz," replied Akash and Anjali in unison giggling.
