Hello Everyone!
So how was today's episode?? 3 new characters were introduced...and our 2 main leads were further developed!

Now I don't one about you...but for me today's episode was so much better than yesterday's! Nothing felt rushed..or overpacked..Rana ji got some dialogues...and the 3 new supporting characters were made pretty clear to us. Also I loved that the scenes were not too much drama. Just simplea, cute and understandable. And that is how scenes r supposed to be. Yes drama here and there is needed but sometimes writers tend to put in too much dialogue to get across the message...I've seen that in many dramas..and due to that an episode gets boring. But I believe such excessive dialogues r not needed if the actor knws how to act and get that message across with they facial and body language! And I think in this aspect the Director deserves a clap! Very well done to him...that he could bring that out from his actors! Hope he keeps this up.

I will mention how he did that with each character as well as analysing the characters.

Rana Ji:

  • So today we learnt so much more about him. Sid done an absolute amazing job on portraying this brocken man who does not forget his duty as a King. This is made so clear when he says that he has been away for 6 years...he doesn't want his people to think that he is only available for the British...he is only there to serve them..but that he is also here for his own people and will fulfill his dutiy to them! He is the man who just returned from war...he has a mother at home who probably has been dying and praying each day that her son survives that day at war. That today she wouldn't have to hear a bad news. Rana ji probably also knws this..that his mother is waiting for him...his palace waits for him...but instead all of that he still feels like a soldier who has to serve his country and people! Just for this...I see why Gayatri respects this man.
  • Moving on to his visit to Gayatri's place. He is Very good at leap forging right?? 🤣 okay..this is production fault...but I think a low angle shot was not the best choice. Low angle shoots r there to make us feel below him...like heis higher than us which is true in many aspects...but the way they showed it just made me laugh rather than feeling lower. I think they should have showed US that he makes it to the front horse and when the horse raised...a low angle shot from there. Him and the horse against the backdrop key light of the sun would have really made that shot something and shown us that he is a perfect leader!
  • Okay a proper analysis of him visiting her place rather than a suggestiom 😆 So as noticed he comes in on a horse...not on foot..even though usually people enter houses on foot but this was again to show that he is a high status person who is not on the same ground as his guards or people around him. A very nice feature added by the Director! So anyway...here we r shown that he is understanding. He takes both oppositions in account in order to pass the best decision. So he isn't a person who would rush decisions...he has a think first. Another good feature about him!
Gayatri:

  • Oh Boy! I hadn't actually expected this. From all those Promo's and spoilers I had expected her to be quite immature and very childlike. Yes she has those features but she is so mature as well! She just hides it away. She understands that her family wants her to be married...her bhabhi's want her out...She understands all that! But she can't do anything about that can she?? It's the 1940s...girls just can't move out of their parents house and get a job and live on their own. Love marriages is not even a thing! Boys and Girls aren't supposed to interact much...so Love marriages r kinda out of questions for girls. For boys.maybe yes they existed...he saw her..liked her..talked to his parents..and they got them married! Girls couldn't go to their parents and say I like that boy get me married to him. She really is helpless in this matter. And I sympathise with her.
  • And guys...since yesterday I have read so many saying that Gayatri is no different from Geet and Madhu. Yes they do have similar characteristics but please don't forget that they both are from two different era's!! For Madhu and Geet to be like they are is normal in today's world. They both could work...and nobody would say a thing! Geet even left her family...because she can! But for Gayatri to be that bubbly person who is childlike...cute...speaks her mind..was not okay back then! And this was proven when Gayatri's mom says that it's no good for ladies like them to argue with guards..they would be downgraded by the society! So even if Drashti is playing a similar character...this one to me is so different!
Gayatri's Mother:

  • A very typical mother.. She loves her daughter but she has worries for her. She like any mother wants to see her daughter, her child managing her own family. She is a total relatable character. And I loved the understanding she has with her daughter. At first I thought that she is a strict mother. But she is very loving...who really wants her to be happy...even if that is through little things like dressing her up. I also like how she understands her bahu's...and their intentions..and that little scene of Gayatri with her mother really was well done! The Director did a fab job as well as the actors!

Well I think the Bhabi's r pretty clear to everyone...they r cunning. I wonder how their Husbands r...if they support them or love their sister? Also want to get to knw the father .which will be tmrw 😛

P.s. this is just my Opinion everyone..u disagree with it..I respect it...everyone has different opinions...so please do share your opinion so we can discuss 😊

Awesome analysis! 👍🏼

I'm not good at analysing so my post's going to be short. 😆

True, Rana ji is a smart man and doesn't seem to be fooled easily. Gayatri was portrayed as a strong and assertive person today which I liked. She may be innocent and childlike but she isn't meek. She can hold her own against others.

Bang on .
Tm like u I liked the 2nd episode more .
So many in IF said dd is ott at being chulbuli but see today she has many layers she showed her strong , maturity in this episode so to me it's different and this role does suite dd the most .
Dd adds cuteness for sure .
Best was fighting for her rights this scene is a small jhalak of future .
Ranaji hopping was silly weird and funny instead he would have stepped down controlled the horses then hooped on front horse would be perfect .
Today dd took over she was so cute beautiful in silk saree last scene were she watched king going was best scene

Niicely crafted analysis..both ranaji and gayathri are having so many differences in the versions of the life but they both believe in straightness and goodness..lets see ..maybe tomorrow's episode will give clear picture about their mind thoughts about life.

Oh it was long but beautiful analysis

Gayatri is not at all looking similar to Madhu to me. May be somewhat to Geet but then as u mentioned there are many differences. I am seriously enjoying Gayatri

She is bubbly but intelligent n brave too. She knows how to handle the situation. She has so much of love inside her

Hello again!
I'll be brief today, really shouldn't spend anymore time on IF than I already have.

Couple of things I liked.
- The scene with G n her mom with her head on her lap. She knows that her bhabis don't like her, they are mean and caustic but yet insists on keeping good relations with them, helping them with their chores. Her mom is naturally worried for her daughter but she assuages her, keeping her own hurt and disappointment masked, accepts that she hasn't been the luckiest in relationships but refuses to wallow in her misery.

_ She also shows her strength of character in dealing with the sipahis. It is not easy for middle class women to stand up to authority figures and especially men but she stood by her principles and dared to defy the royal guard.

- i love the acting in this show man! Sid is so effective in his restrained but concerned and authoritative demeanour. He is aware of his responsibilities as a raja and despite the recent life-threatening experience, he doesn't shy away from his duies.

- He also proved to be a fair king. he could have easily not heard Gayatri's reasoning and brushed it off but he didn't. Many other princes in his place would be enraged at the gall of a middle class young girl comparing her family to his but he listened to her demands and thoughtfully retracted his guards.

And PS- that horse leaping scene was legit funny! It looked ridiculous!v 🤣
