- So today we learnt so much more about him. Sid done an absolute amazing job on portraying this brocken man who does not forget his duty as a King. This is made so clear when he says that he has been away for 6 years...he doesn't want his people to think that he is only available for the British...he is only there to serve them..but that he is also here for his own people and will fulfill his dutiy to them! He is the man who just returned from war...he has a mother at home who probably has been dying and praying each day that her son survives that day at war. That today she wouldn't have to hear a bad news. Rana ji probably also knws this..that his mother is waiting for him...his palace waits for him...but instead all of that he still feels like a soldier who has to serve his country and people! Just for this...I see why Gayatri respects this man.
- Moving on to his visit to Gayatri's place. He is Very good at leap forging right?? 🤣 okay..this is production fault...but I think a low angle shot was not the best choice. Low angle shoots r there to make us feel below him...like heis higher than us which is true in many aspects...but the way they showed it just made me laugh rather than feeling lower. I think they should have showed US that he makes it to the front horse and when the horse raised...a low angle shot from there. Him and the horse against the backdrop key light of the sun would have really made that shot something and shown us that he is a perfect leader!
- Okay a proper analysis of him visiting her place rather than a suggestiom 😆 So as noticed he comes in on a horse...not on foot..even though usually people enter houses on foot but this was again to show that he is a high status person who is not on the same ground as his guards or people around him. A very nice feature added by the Director! So anyway...here we r shown that he is understanding. He takes both oppositions in account in order to pass the best decision. So he isn't a person who would rush decisions...he has a think first. Another good feature about him!
- Oh Boy! I hadn't actually expected this. From all those Promo's and spoilers I had expected her to be quite immature and very childlike. Yes she has those features but she is so mature as well! She just hides it away. She understands that her family wants her to be married...her bhabhi's want her out...She understands all that! But she can't do anything about that can she?? It's the 1940s...girls just can't move out of their parents house and get a job and live on their own. Love marriages is not even a thing! Boys and Girls aren't supposed to interact much...so Love marriages r kinda out of questions for girls. For boys.maybe yes they existed...he saw her..liked her..talked to his parents..and they got them married! Girls couldn't go to their parents and say I like that boy get me married to him. She really is helpless in this matter. And I sympathise with her.
- And guys...since yesterday I have read so many saying that Gayatri is no different from Geet and Madhu. Yes they do have similar characteristics but please don't forget that they both are from two different era's!! For Madhu and Geet to be like they are is normal in today's world. They both could work...and nobody would say a thing! Geet even left her family...because she can! But for Gayatri to be that bubbly person who is childlike...cute...speaks her mind..was not okay back then! And this was proven when Gayatri's mom says that it's no good for ladies like them to argue with guards..they would be downgraded by the society! So even if Drashti is playing a similar character...this one to me is so different!
- A very typical mother.. She loves her daughter but she has worries for her. She like any mother wants to see her daughter, her child managing her own family. She is a total relatable character. And I loved the understanding she has with her daughter. At first I thought that she is a strict mother. But she is very loving...who really wants her to be happy...even if that is through little things like dressing her up. I also like how she understands her bahu's...and their intentions..and that little scene of Gayatri with her mother really was well done! The Director did a fab job as well as the actors!
