@Baki : I've always noticed this trend and i wonder if the channel itself don't give support and give promos, how would it interest audience and make people watch it. When the channel itself neglects a show and then expect it to still give good ratings. If if still no ratings as expected, axe the show and the ones on the loosing end is the casts and we fans who loves the show 😔

@ Baki and Visha: So true guys! The channel will promote a show to no end when it is about to start and then it's like the show falls off the face of the Earth for them if it doesn't garner good ratings. The other thing I don't get is how can they compare a weekend show to a daily. There's no comparison! Obviously in comparison if a show airs for 6 days a week it'll have better TRPs than a show that airs only once a week (and that too if the channel wishes).

Dreading whether this show will also suffer the fate of its predecessor Airlines...

SP should really stop cancelling telecasts like this. If they care for TRPs, they should promote the show more and should show the episodes every Sunday. This inconsistency in telecasting will make viewers lose interest in the show. They should try to build up instead of reducing viewer's interest for the shows. I used to watch Airlines and PI initially. But because of the irregularity in telecasting, I started missing episodes and finally lost interest. It gets frustrating to turn on the TV to watch the show only to see that there is no episode for that day and then later on when they do air episodes, I might not feel like tuning in to see if there is an episode or not. And even if I do catch the episode, by then a huge disconnect has happened from the previous episode.

^I don't think this show would be even to complete its run, may be they will burn the remaining episodes in once a week. i don't see much hope for it already

there was no episode on 5th July, i was searching for links and thot all were removed

and next two weeks we many not have cause of NB7 Semi finals and Finals... 🤔

The same thing happened with airlines, this is a weekly show and if they skip telecasting every other week, ppl will lose interest and will not be able to connect to it and later story will be taken for a toss to wrap it up

^ So far every online schedule is showing GG airing this weekend. Now it just remains to be seen if that will happen.

I know for sure we won't have one on the 19th thanks to NB7 finale.

I really hate it when this happens... Good shows have been cancelling back to back...sometimes time changes... sometimes they do not even run for weeks.

Airline did not even run every Sunday... but the serial was cut short in stead.

I am sure we will have Gulmohar Grand ending much earlier then expected. I really want the serial to run every sunday instead of having no episode at all due to award shows, movies or due to whatever reason.
