piku...a deepika film but really ?

piku ..
film was critically acclaimed nd ppl accepted it with warm hearts...
soothing songs no stupid item number nd all...overall a grt entertainer nd is watchatble more than one time...
the trio...AB dpad nd irfan...all are accomplished actors in bollywood...
no doubt deepika did well in piku nd i doubt if anyone else could hv done that fairly.
having said that ...y is it considered a dpad women centric film...???
i found amitabh the greatest pull in the movie...typical bengali...
he actually irritated nd astonished audience with his constant nagging which was the requirement i suppose...
then why its success is in deepika's kitty nd not him ???

No it wasnt woman centric...Big B had an equally important role. Irfan's role was significant too. Same is the case with TWMR. Both are cases of actress PR hyping them over their costars.

Success in everyone's kitty didnt you see Amitabh post success interviews for Times now, india today, ABP, Aajtak and ndtv after it became a hit? kamal karte ho. He is also in half-yearly male actor nominations by all websites.

I think Queen, Mary Kom, Mardani were proper women centric films.

Kangana denied TWMR as women centric film in one of her interviews...

In TWMR,Kangana was the bigger star among her costars...In Piku,DP too is popular but come on who doesn't knw Big B?
