piku...a deepika film but really ? - Page 2

Its not only Deepika movie. Everyone has equal importance like AB sir and Irrfan.
She gets lots of credit as she is liked by many ppl. Its not women centric. But she tried somethg different than regular glam roles where the story plot is very good. The direction is on point.
Deepika gets huge praise and huge mocking when the film hits or fails bec she is liked by many also gets equal amount of hate.
If piku failed, I can imagine the amt of mocking she gets like Ranbir getting for BV. I feel Irfan and AB sir will nvr get it.
Its all abt popularity at that time. Deepika is enjoying it.

Cause DP is the flavour of the season n thts how it works in BW..overhyping an actor or actress every few months/years.

I think it's hype but more of a shock cos no one thought she cud stand nxt to two of India's greatest actors in a movie sans skin show or song and dance.

Not saying she was bad in Piku..i liked her performance but others were equally good..and AB is in a league of his own.

maybe experience or watever...but AB was fabulous nd i guess the major appeal...to me atleast

No, Piku despite being a weird movie to me belonged to AB Sr. He was too good as an annoying and hypochondriac Bangali Bashkor.
