Rani Mukerji & Vishal Jethwa reunite at Mardaani 3 screening; Rekha, Ahaan Panday, & Aneet Padda in attendance

Despite the popularity of the Mardaani franchise, Rani Mukerji's latest film, Mardaani 3, has experienced a dip in its domestic box office earnings, accumulating just over Rs 27 crore. On Friday, February 6, Rani hosted a special screening of the film, which was attended by several notable figures from the industry, including Rekha, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda, Keerthy Suresh, and Vishal Jethwa, who co-starred with Rani in Mardaani 2.

Following a special screening of Mardaani 3, Siddharth P. Malhotra, director of Rani's Hichki, posted a selfie on his Instagram story. The image showed Huma Qureshi taking the selfie with Rani, Aneet, Keerthy, and others, all smiling. In a touching moment, Rekha was seen embracing Ahaan.

Siddharth P. Malhotra, also took a selfie with Rani, expressing his admiration for her performance in Mardaani 3. He wrote, "Watched Mardaani 3 #RaniMukerji rules every frame... she embodies Shivani Shivani Roy so so brilliantly that you root for her thru and thru in a full paisa vasool film... Many Congrats..."

Huma Qureshi also shared a picture with her brother, Saqib Saleem, and Rani. The caption read, "Only love for you. Rani maam. what a performance #Mardaani3. Blown Away."

Vishal, who played a key role in Mardaani 2, has frequently expressed his deep respect and admiration for Rani Mukerji. He shared, "Mardaani will always be very special to me, and so will Rani ma'am. Working with her has been one of the most important learning experiences of my life. She leads by example with honesty, strength, and so much grace. Reuniting with her at the screening brought back so many memories, and I couldn't be more grateful to have been a part of this journey."

He adds, "Mardaani is Rani Mukerji ma'am, and Rani Mukerji ma'am is Mardaani. No one can perform Shivani Shivaji Roy better than Rani ma'am. I saw Mardaani 3, and she again proved that she is Rani Mukerji for a reason. I want to come back as a villain in Mardaani 4."

Mardaani 3 includes Janki Bodiwala, Jisshu Sengupta, Mikhail Yawalkar, Indraneel Bhattacharya, Prajesh Kashyap, and Mallika Prasad, who portrays the main antagonist, Amma. The film, directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, is the third film in the Mardaani series, after Mardaani (2014) and Mardaani 2 (2019).
