Tbh when i first read today's written update, I thought I'd be annoyed by the VeeBa scenes today and the tying up scene but I wasn't really because it had a funny undertone to it and it seemed Baldev only tied her up because she called him mad and questioned his ability to win Rahul's heart and not because he necessarily wanted her out of the way. Basically he tied her up and was like I'm doing what mad people do and flirted with her a bit and it seemed he was challenging her that he will prove her wrong and will win Rahul's heart. I actually liked that scene tbh because they both want the same thing and want Geet and Rahul to get married but they want to go about it in a different way and think they both know best. Veera wants to take it slow whereas Baldev wants to rush it.
But the precap scene and Bansuri instigating Baldev against Veera like Gunjan did before annoyed me. Why does everyone have to try to manipulate Baldev? Like literally everyone does it and what's worse is Baldev lets them. Now because of that Baldev will no doubt think they're right hence the precap.
Seriously Baldev, you think Veera wants bad for Gunjan? The same Veera who practically worships Gunjan? And now Veera apparently can't even leave the house without Baldev's permission and talk to Geet (who's her friend) or Rahul who was her friend/professor first before he became Baldev's paaji or the next victim for Geet's wedding. Honestly it's annoying me how Baldev's being controlling and if Veera so much as talks to Geet or Rahul, he thinks wrong. I get it though because before to him it did look like Veera's trying to change Geet's mind about marriage but it's still annoying.
You know it's funny because once upon a time this same Baldev trusted Veera so much and thought she could never do any wrong but I guess Veera's lack of trust or support made the trust he had on her go away. Like now he thinks she's meddling and stirring and always telling her to butt out and what to do. I guess it's all down to Veera and what she's done and how much she hurt him. How can you blindly trust someone if they've hurt you so much? Though it does make me sad that they're lowering Baldev to the same level as Veera by making him not trust her and also being wedding crazy and sticking up for psycho Gunjan no matter what she does and basically siding with Bansuri and Gunjan because he too thinks Veera is up to no good. Also imo Veera should just stop now and let them handle it. I know pressuring someone into marriage is wrong but there's nothing she can do. Queen Gunjan wants it therefore it has to happen.
Baldev too should just stop threatening and ruining his relationship with Veera for someone like Gunjan tbh. Baldev needs to stop with with this "I'm Gunjan's cheerleader" behaviour. It's getting almost as annoying as Veera's veerji jaap. I get caring about your sibling but willing to forcefully get someone married because they're jealous of them is so OTT and also ruining your relationship with your husband/wife just because your sister and brother in law are having problems is so OTT too. Why do they make sibling relationships so OTT and obsessive in this show? Now it seems like we've got two people who are obsessed with their siblings together. And what's worse is their siblings don't care about them half as much especially Gunjan.
And this is coming from someone who previously wanted more GunDev scenes but the way they're writing them and the way they've made Gunjan a psycho again makes me feel like all her character is really doing is bringing Baldev down.
