"Hello Bro..."
"Hello Cabir..." Manik replied.
"What is this bro? You didn't called to tell me what happened? And I was so worried about you that I called you to ask." Cabir complained. It was almost dinner time and Manik was eating pizza that he has ordered.
"O I am really really sorry Cabir. I almost forget to call you." Manik felt very guilty because after Prof. Aditya took him out of the class room he didn't gave him any free space so that he could call anyone.
"Ya ya I know now Nandani would be there for you then who am I in front of her han?" Cabir tried to tease Manik.
"Cabir I have already told you that it's not like what you think it is. But ya bro your plan was awesome she have forgiven me."
"Yup I know I am great because my plans always work. So did she attended the class??"
"Ya ya you self-lover stop admiring yourself. And yup she attended the class and you know what did she do?" Manik said excitedly.
"O wait a second did she kissed you??"
"CABIRRR stop it." although Manik stopped Cabir by yelling on him but the images of him trying to kiss Nandani came back into his mind. His heart and brain once again were against each other. His heart felt good when he was near Nandani but his brain told him that he is doing wrong because she is his student and he should maintain a teacher student distance between them.
Cabir brought Manik back to reality and said "Ok I know that was a bad joke. So what did she do?" Cabir said while smiling.
"Yup she started shouting that there is a lizard on the rostrum and in just few mints the whole class room was empty." Manik started smiling by remembering all this. You should not be smiling Manik she is your student for God sake. Manik's brain started yelling now. And Manik again started feeling guilty for what he was about to do with Nandani in the class today.
"HAHAHAHA! What she is too much yar I think I need to meet that girl she is a unique piece." Cabir said while laughing.
"Yup she sure is unique." Manik said in a tone like he was not understanding what he himself was saying.
"Manik everything ok na? You sound a little wired." Cabir asked in confusion.
"Ya everything is fine. Why?"
"No I just thought that hmmm leave it. Tell me is there anything you want to tell me?" Cabir tried to ask Manik the core reason of his confusion. But Manik was not ready to share what happened between him and Nandani.
"No Cabir there is nothing to worry about. Relax"
"You sure? You know na you can tell me anything? And by anything I mean anything..."
Now Manik felt a little guilty about not telling the truth to Cabir. But he was not ready to tell him what if Cabir tell him the same thing as his brain said. No I should maintain a good teacher student relation with her not more than that. Manik thought to himself and said "I am sure Cabir and if there would be anything I will let you know about that."
"Hmmm good. By the way I have to tell you something." Cabir said in an excited tone.
"Hmmm and what is it?"
"Guess what I got a job..." Cabir tell Manik with full of excitement.
"O wao that is a great news. Where and when you got that? And you don't even tell me." Manik complained.
"Manik yar you were too tensed in your own life that I didn't wanted to disturb you. And yup I got a job of professional programmer in a software house names as We Soft'."Cabir replied with full of excitement.
"Wait what did you say We Soft' I have read this name some days ago but I can't remember where?" Manik tried to remember but was unable to recall where he has read that name.
"Yup bro the software house is in Dehli near your university campus." Cabir said while exploding with excitement.
"O my God means you are going to came here. O wao we would live together here like roommates. That would me too much fun." Manik was more than happy to hear this news.
"Ya I would live with you if you let me." Cabir teased Manik with his fake sad voice.
"O please shut up Cabir stop that stupid jokes of yours and tell me when are you coming?" Manik asked in excitement.
"Hmmm actually I am due to join by the Monday means after 4 days. So I would come day after tomorrow." Cabir explained his plan.
"Wao that would be great we would have so much fun on this Sunday." Manik was so happy that his best friend would now would be here with him.
"Ya we would have fun. But you know what I would love to see the damsels of your university" Cabir teased Manik.
"Cabirrr..."
"HAHAHAHA I am just teasing you yar. Ok now have to go mom is calling for dinner. Bye"
"Ok bro bye. And yup I would be waiting for you." And they both disconnected the call. Manik was very excited that now his best friend would be here with him soon.

Here at Nandani's house she was trying to understand last lecture that she had not attended. "O God this is the basic concepts and if these would not fit right in my head then I am doomed. I remember that I just memorized then when I first read the course. But know I think I should understand after all I am improving so I think that I should improve my concepts too."
She take her cell phone and called Naviya "Hello Naviya how are you?"
"Ahhh Nandani seriously at 11 PM you call me to ask how am i?" It was apparent from the way Naviya was was talking that she was sleeping.
"O hehehe no actually I am facing a tiny problem."
"And what is it?"
"Wo Naviya actually I am unable to understand some concepts of databases you know na I missed last lecture so would you please help me?"
Aaa may be this is a good chance for you Nandani to understand what that feeling of yours is. Naviya thought and said "What Nandani not again. Remember last time I tried my level best to make you understand all this."
"Yup I know but pleaseee would you help me again?"
"No Nandani I can't as I am working on our final year project and I need to give extra time to it so no. But I have an idea for you."
"And what that great idea of yours?"
"That is you can ask Sir Manik to help you han?"
"What??"
"What what? He is your teacher so what is the problem in asking his help han?"
"Are you sure he would help me?"
"O he would love to..."
"What do you mean?"
"Aaa I mean to say that of course he would help you. He is such a hard working teacher."
"Hmmm ok I would try tomorrow." Nandani agreed but she was still confused that whether he would help her or not.
"Ok then meet you tomorrow. Bye" Naviya said in a fake sleepy tone.
"O ya ok good night." Nandani said and disconnected the call.
Yup my plan worked. You are too good Naviya. Well done. Naniya thought and smiled to herself.
On the other hand Nandani was confused and thought should I ask help from Sir Manik or not. I mean he would be busy he don't have all the time for me. Ayiapa please help me tomorrow han. She prayed and lay down to sleep.

Next day again Naviya pushed Nandani to go to Sir Manik. Finally Nandani agreed and knocked on the door to his office.
"Yes who is there?"
Nandani peeped in to the door and said "Can I come in sir?"
Manik looked up to see who was there. Actually he just wanted to confirm that it was Nandani or not because her voice already told him that was her. Remember Manik what you have decided keep your distance ok? Manik thought to himself.
"Ya come in." He said while composing himself.
She went inside and stand near him. "Yup Ms. Nandani what is it?" Manik asked.
"Sir actually wo...you know na tha..." Nandani was finding her words.
She is looking too cute. Manik's heart said.
So what every girl look pretty. Stay focused. Manik's brain scolded him. So he said "And I know what?"
"Sir I missed one of your lecture and if you have some free time would you please teach those topics to me?"
Say no at once. I don't trust you that you would not cross the limits this time. Manik's brain snapped at once.
But I am her teacher and it is my responsibility to teach her if she has any confusion. His heart argued.
Yup but listen... His brain tried to give more reason but his heart dominated this time and said No but I am saying yes to her and I would stay in my limits I am telling you. I promise.
"Hmmm yup of course I would help you but not now I am a little busy." Manik replied in a calm tone.
"O thank you so much sir. And no problem I would come whenever you are free." Nandani replied in excitement.
"Good. Now you may go now."
"Yup sir sure." Nandani replied and ran out with joy. When she came out, she thought something and then peeped in to his office again and said "Can I come in again sir?"
"Yup what is it now?" Manik replied.
"Sir how would I know that you are free. So can I have your cell number?" Nandani don't know from where she got that much courage to ask for his number but she did.
No not number Manik. Manik's brain was shouting.
What is your problem han? She is just my student and students can contact their teachers on the cell what is the big deal in it. His heart again started reasoning and won again.
"Yup sure" Manik said while holding his pen to write his number and started finding a paper.
Nandani at once placed her hand in front of him to write his number.
See she is understanding this all wrong. Manik's brain at once blamed him.
It's not that sometimes she herself don't know what she is doing. Maink's heart argued. And he said "No there is no need of that Ms. Nandani where is your cell write my number in it."
"O ya how fool of me." Nandani slap her head with her hand and take out her cell from her bag.
He told her his number and said "Just text me with your name written in it."
"Ok sir thank you so much." She went out his office and was more than happy He is so sweet. She thought to herself and at once texted him.
Hello sir š it's me Nandani your student who asked you to teach previous topics to her. And you agreed š
The Manik's cell beeped and a smile covered his face after reading her text and said "Crazy girl."
