The Indian branch of Reader's Digest is owned by another giant in the publishing field ie India Today ! I have been an ardent reader of their books and had often purchased several series from them. So I got trapped in this huge scam which promised me a lux car along with cash rewards if I followed a trail ...of course I had to buy several collections before I realized I was being goofed up and let go.

Karan too has fallen prey to some cheaters and yes there is no reason to be ashamed of it. In fact he has acted brave to report the swindle and I hope he recovers the losses. Even if he does not this will alert others to remain careful.

Instead of ridiculing the actor we should ridicule the system where such scams occur daily. Remember the many scam offers of land and planting trees etc that would be made a few years back ...all swindlers that cheated so many thousands and have all disappeared after collecting several millions in loot from an innocent public.

So did you make a case against them? If it was a reputed magazine it could've been possible to do a case against them? Maybe you should do it now since your idol has inspired so many of you to do cases against such scams 😲

Others already know to be careful of it! Even kids know of such scams nowadays- why is it so hard to accept Karan got stuck in this cause of his greed & deperateness for a shortcut to earn more money😆 thank you we'll ridicule the system too after we ridicule the person who was being so dumb.
He is an actor he earns enough money for himself why was the desperateness for there to go for such a petty amount which it is for him. He should've been more aware of such things being a public figure but oh well.
