I think most people are concerned DP is not signing any new films.

The point is: is she not getting new films or is she not interested?

Regional movies cannot be expected from a top actress like DP,.

She needs to get back into competitive mode. After all, she has to compete with not just the likes of Kangana and Priyanka but Anushka, Alia etc. Even the senior actresses lke Aishwarya and Kjaol are making come-back in 2015.
