Who cares whether Aamir was a successful hero or not in 1988-1999 n successful nahi bhi tha so wat aaj successful hai n atleast he never had a point in life where he went to a director n said i need a movie

Perks of nepotism. 😆

Nobody, who is from an industry family, has ever had to go to directors to beg for movies, even if he or she was suffering flop phase in career.

Aamir has picked up post Lagaan and his comeback has been amazing.

In 90s he was just one of the popular stars and recognized as a talented actor but never considered a force to reckon with at ticket counters.

I don't think anyone has argued otherwise. Even in this thread, you wont see any Aamir fan claiming that he a force in the 90's. I am surprised tbh, usually in this forum everyone is hell bent on proving how their favorite is superior with ridiculous filters and logics ; case in point this thread and others made by the OP.

But yeah in the last decade he has been at top no matter how you look at it. Box-office, quality of movies and so on; he has been the one to beat and nobody has managed to come close. With PK he has marched even further ahead; worldwide as well, 100 crores from China is nothing short of extraordinary.

Aamir was never a superstar in 90s.. he reinvented himself with Lagaan and more so with Gajini..

All 2 khans were to ride on SRK's back. I wonder why Saif was never considered a Khan.

If we r talking abt 90s, its SRK, 2000s. Its SRK, 2000-2015.. Its Aamir.. Salman and Srk.

Aamir is gonna loose out by default. If BB and PRDP hits BB, Salman is no.1 superstar.

And just to remind U. I m not a Salman fan. If Srk's Dilwale and Raees hit the jackpot, he can be no.2

Aamir will be no.3.
