You were looking your best at the IIFA?
I am feeling my best. I had so much fun at IIFA. I got a chance to meet the entire industry under one roof. It was like one big picnic.
What's your khubsoorati ka raaz, is it love?
I wish! No, actually I never got a chance earlier to look my best, running around coping with my impossible shooting schedules. I wasn't giving myself time to look after myself. I was neglecting myself. I was just so happy working. I thought being busy with work was all that mattered.
One can't look after oneself when one is running around?
And that too in a car. If one is running around on one's feet one can at least lose weight(laughs). I was doing four back-to-back films. The moment Kill Dill released I was able to take some time off to look after myself.
Do you feel the difference?
Oh yes!I am eating better. My skin is breathing better because I don't have to put on makeup everyday. I sleep as much as I like. I guess the results are showing me. Everybody is looking at me with affection.
I guess in today's day and age looking good goes hand-in-hand with stardom?
Yes, to some extent, though nothing to beat good old talent. But one definitely needs to look one's best. Today I'm happier with the way I'm looking I am reading a lot of scripts. And I'm catching up with family and friends. And I also got time to finish my various endorsements.
Your take on celebrities endorsing dubious brands?
There is only this much that an actor can know about the product he or she is endorsing. We actors depend on what the brand tells us about the product. And these are all time-tested brand. So why put all the blame on actors? But yes, actors need to do as much research as possible.
Have you found a boyfriend yet?
That's the only thing that hasn't changed in my life. I've given up even thinking about it
