Okay! I don't know if people are still aware of the fact that this a version of my already posted story. And I have exact number of chapters with me. Completed. Though, there are minute changes that I need to make to make sure it fits in with MaNan. But yes, this one is already posted with some other names.
So, I cannot extend this story into a longer one but I can come up with some other one, exclusively for MaNan, after this gets complete. 😛
And you people need to know that your reviews make my day. I re-read your reviews most of the times 😆 I know sounds silly. But I can't help but smile when I read all these comments.
Anyways, I think I better shut my mouth and let you all read the next. Hopefully, you all enjoy this as much as you people could like the previous chapter.
Thanks again!
Chapter Seven.
He sat down disappointedly. Being unable to have heard anything from her from the past few days, he felt uneasy. He couldn't even get a glimpse of her. She didn't climb the roof top since days, not stepped out, not even in the backyard. His heart heavy with emotions never witnessed. His thoughts circled around only her name. He had by now realized whatever it was, it wasn't lust for sure. It was something more deep, intense, pure and more strong - binding. An invisible string that binds him to her makes him answerable for all what he had done.
Everything around reminded him of her. The burning heat of the summer, the mosquitoes and flies making him spend those sleepless nights, the warm piercing sunlight in the morning at her routine hours, everything - every damn thing reminded him of her. The twinkling stars, the dim moon light, the darkness of the sky resembled so much to his life. He was as lonely as the moon, with patches of his deeds surrounded by people whom he was physically around but in reality he had no one. He had the burden of unsaid feelings, emotion of guilt and grief taking over.
He wanted her, badly - this time for the overpowering emotions, his feelings, his confrontation - for him, for her, for them, for an apology to be asked - for his deeds.
She looked around, only to have found Nimish missing. God! She hated to run around him with an injured foot. And above all she hated the route used to find him - roof top.
Keeping all the odd thoughts aside, she dragged herself to the staircase. She hoped that he wasn't there. She didn't have the courage to face him. She wasn't ready for an aggressive meet. She didn't have the strength. And above all she loved him to hate him enough; that was the truth. A bitter truth she had to live with.
She had to find Nimish, and this was of more importance. If he comes her way, she would deal with it then but she had to find Nimish, in anyway.
Climbing the stairs, sinking into deep darkness, she gulped the fear. She hadn't roamed around in this dark scary night. No matter what came her way, she would never step out in the dark. But with the lights not working, the rooftop seemed darker than ever. Even the moonlight and the stars were of no help. It still was scary dark.
The anklets tinkled, announcing its presence as it echoed into the silence. He somewhere knew it was her, he hoped that it was her. But he lay still at his place. He didn't want to lose an encounter with her just by assuring his presence. She wouldn't like it. He had to play it safe if he really wanted to convey everything he had in his heart and mind. He had to let out everything. But first, he had to make sure she comes to the roof top - at least enters her own boundary.
Thoughts! :)
