Why was Katrina Kaif axed from Vipul Shah's 'Namaste England'?

The director is looking out for a fresh pairing for his Namastey London sequel...

Vipul Shah is known to make some commercially viable films and recently we heard that Vipul Shah is working on Namaste England, a sequel of Namastey London which released in 2007.

Namaste England will bring back the formidable pairing of Akshay Kumar and Vipul together. They both are known to share a great bond and are good friends. Akshay has been part of most of the films that Vipul has directed.

For the time being Vipul and his team are on the look out for a new actress as the film demands a fresh pairing. When contacted, Vipul clarifies, "We will finalise the cast in 10 days. Akshay has been retained but we are looking for a new heroine. We have not approached Katrina for the film."

Our sources told us, "Namastey London had worked really well and now Vipul has a fantastic script in hand, one where he needs a very strong actress and performer. Katrina doesn't suit the bill and he also wanted a fresh pairing for the sequel. That's why she wasn't approached for the sequel." Ouch, Kat!

Namaste England is close to Vipul's heart and is his dream project. He has been working hard on this project for quite a some time now. It is a very special film for him and he is happy that he will be directing this film. The movie is expected to release in 2016

Because of the disaster of the face she has now..they may deny all they want..they all know including herself that her only forte (looks) is no longer there.

Good!! select who ever suits the role, why need of anti katrina article. When isnt even aproched for the movie or did she reject the movie for gauri shindes next.

This is Vipul's answer to Katrina quickly clarifying that she is not doing any film called Force 2, she basically didn't want to get her name dragged for the PR of Force 2, Vipul seems bitter lol

Aysa kya, no brobleeem... char din ka pr drama than they get something else to publish for the movie. The part which says the actress role is performance oriented. Actually something good is comming out of top actresses rejecting the roles. Directors , producers, scriptwriters will created good roles for even for actresses.
