Ok, I have am making this post on basis of an episode I was watching of Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai...
The scene was Maya and Indravadan's fridge isn't working, and they aren't suppose to let Dushyant, their sweet son-in-law know about the same!
but somehow, things do not go as planned and their son "Roshesh" ruins the plan and Dushyant comes along.
Episode No. 29
So here, am just doing "Written-Update" of that small scene which followed, but with replaced characters...
Neetu is pacing up and down passing angry glares at Prem, who is just standing there like statue with his heads down knowing "grave" mistake he has committed!
Prem: Momma please stop this, I am sorry, I said... it was just a Mistake!
Neetu: (pissed off looks at him and shouts) Do You realize what price will we have to pay for this so called mistake of yours,
Making Prem feel even more guilty, that's exactly when "Ding Dong" rang the bell...
Neetu: (looks at door helplessly...) He came... he has arrived..!!!🥱 and once again looks angrily at Prem before heading towards door,...
She opens the door and as expected, she didn't really have to welcome HIM, as he barged in their unwelcomed house...
"Agar freezer mein cooling hai aur main compartment nahin chalta hai toh compressor partially fractured hai..." he walked in quick pace towards the fridge kept in kitchen.. as continue speaking trying to be more clear while explaining to Neetu who stood their worried for her kitchen, "aur agar thoda thanda ho raha hai, toh gas leakage hai.. aur kabhi thnda aur kabhi nai wala kissa hai toh ducting problem hai.." he explained as he continued walking in, "Aur bohot jyada cheeze stored in hai toh cooling obstruct ho raha hai..." he continued walking and reached fridge to open it...Finally making Neetu break her silence...
Neetu: "Ok, Ab hello Kahe?"
He just nods and says yes,
Neetu with broad smile: "Hello Pakya"
Neetu said with utter sophistication ...
Pakya: (without giving any friendly expression): "Hello MoM" and turns to fridge... and opens the fridge... After few seconds, a sort of Pakya makes a panicky face, (as if some close relative of his is own deathbed!!)
"Mom, the fridge isn't working at all, yeh toh bilkul bhi cooling nai de raha hai..!!"
Neetu nods, "I know..."
Pakya immidietly, starts switching on and off from the it's main switch, but nothing works, as he keeps panicking while checking out the fridge several times...
as he asks, "Kaise Ho gaya yeh sab? Kal tak toh... " he paused, and looked at Neetu, as he almost closed the door, "Kal raat tak toh acha khasa bhala khelta hua tha.. ab yeh sab achanak..?"
he asked worried...!!
Neetu getting into the similar skin of condolance and grief, "and last night it, had managed to freez the ice as well!!" (Kal raat ko toh isne ache khaase baraf bhi jamai thi...)
but the all of of sudden... "...
and rolls her EYes!
"Cut it out Pakya.. ..." she said sternly, "Fridge ka dehant nai ho gaya hai, condolance dena bandh karo!"
Prem walks in from other end, while calling out for Neetu , "Momma woh service centre se koi nai aa sakta..." he said as he walked towards Pakya and Neetu, "actually everyone in the centre has got jaundice..." he informed casually... but stood seeing Pakya there,"Oh Hi Pakya..."
His words shocked Pakya too, "Everyone ??" he confirmed, and Prem nodded... "Are you sure?" he asked again, and Prem nodded in yes..!!
Pakya thought for couple of seconds, "In that case!! i am sure there was problem with water and filter over here!" he concluded...
Neetu clapped her hands to mock him, "Well then, they need you..." saying so she headed in other direction... "Prem, please give him the number... and tell him everything else..." as she walked away...
Pakya felt weird, "Are you trying to tell me to get out?"ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Neetu turned back to him , "Well... umm.. YES!" she said bluntly, as Pakya walked past her, ... with a serious expression of disappointment
and Prem smiled at Neetu, feeling content...
Pakya turned around, "This is Rude!" he stated...
While Neetu looked down, still not sorry for her words, "You are humiliating me...!!" he said... " and no son-in-law will ever tolerate such insults..!!" he said.. while Neetu still looked away smiling and nodding in yes, "Yes, Bilkul Sahi Kaha Tumne...!!!" she agreed...
While Pakya instantly replied, "It is good thing, I do not take small things on my heart, or else, any other person wouldn't have stayed back for a second! EVEN I WOULD HAVE!" he cleared it up and continued with his talk of interest as he looked at Prem, "Where is toolkit Prem?" Neetu answered on his behalf, "We do not have it!" as quickly as she can!
Pakya looks at Prem, and spoke, "i gifted you a toolkit on your birthday Prem!" he reminded, and neetu looked at them shocked, 'Do You gift toolkits on people's birthday...!" While Prem just added, "Well last time he gifted me 6 switches and 4 plugs!" he chuckled!!
Neetu laughed slightly at his words, "Well am lucky then.. he gifted me Watch!"
Pakya looked on, "well, I wanted to give you driller ... ellectric driller, but Pakhi stopped me and made me give you watch!" he said honestly...!!!
Neetu looked at him and then at Prem, "Didn't I tell you my Pooka baby is intelligent!!" she said happily...and Pakya laughed at her words, "Why ?? Doesn't Prem consider her as intelligent?" he asked... Neetu looked at him funnily, "Well, ever since she has married you, people are indeed doubting her intelligence!" she stated...
Pakya looked on, "This is second time you are insulting me Mom!" he stated...
Neetu looked on agreeing to his words once again,
as Pakya continued, 'Don't repeat it again mom... or else I will cancel my plan to stay here for two-two three days and leave... tomorrow morning itself..." he confirmed!!!
ans moved passed them towards fridge, while Neetu and Prem watched him with open mouth, feeling annoyed and irritated with this SON-In-LAW Pakya!
