3 Idiots, Dhoom 3, PK are Big Hits JUST coz of Aamir Khan?

3 films being in list of All time Biggest Grossers among Top 10, so my question is Aamir Khan solely responsible for making all these 3 films Biggest HIT or it was SCRIPT which made them big hits?

If any other star would have done it, will these films be that much big hits?

If Salman Khan starred in all these films then they would have made 500 cr. like Jai Ho, Main Aur Mrs. Khanna, Dabang 2, Ready and the list goes on.

Neither of Khans are the ONLY reason for their films to be such a huge success, yes they play a big part but not the ONLY sole reason!

Aamir had no contribution to those films unlike Salman who does films without scripts, item numbers, kissing scenes, skin show, horny dialogue and romance so Salman's films only work because of his solo appearance.

Aamir has build up this trust among people that whenever he will come onscreen with a movie, that movie will be GOOD! Will be entertaining -and luckily that has been the case always in past few years

Salman Khan is the sole reason for all his films success as per this forum, his films don't have script, so without script with non-acting only Salman Khan can give 6 BlockBuster back 2 back.

Dhoom 3 was coming off a big hit dhoom 2...and Kat did add to the star value..

so not it's not jus coz of aamir but yeh his films are usually decent...not mindless like salmans

What is stopping other stars from doing a PK or a 3I??

Had Salman worked in 3idiots and PK, it would have been disaster, performance wise. Also, those movies wont have crossed 200 crores.
