Jaipur girl Shireen Mirza, who was in town last month
recuperating from a minor ankle injury, came back to
the city yesterday afternoon when she got the news
that her father had had a heart attack.
"I was in shock when I heard about my dad. It's a
tough phase as even I am not keeping too well. I hurt
my head badly while shooting and now it is swollen.
All is not well but I am glad that my cast and crew
supported me and let me leave immediately to be with
my family. My dad had a heart surgery and he is on a
pacemaker. I just hope everything gets well again
soon," said the actress.
A few days ago while shooting, a light boom fell on
Shireen, who plays Simmi in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'.
Last month, she met with a minor accident and
sprained her ankle while shooting for a dance
sequence.
The actress is now home on a 10-day break, and will
resume shooting only after her father gets well. It's
not always easy taking a break while working in a
daily show, but Shireen completed her part of the
shoot before leaving for Jaipur.
