Shot in the unexplored regions of Kashmir, the show will also showcase some of the most scenic locations along with lavish sets, intricate jewellery, costumes and advanced VFX effects. Nachiket Pantvaidya senior EVP and business head of the channel said, "Karn has always been one of the most intriguing characters of Mahabharata and his story deserves to be told in the most magnificent manner. The performances coupled with visuals and storyline will set the show apart."
While Aditya Redij will play the elder Karn, Vishesh Bansal will play the younger one. Mouli Ganguly will play Radha while Priya Bhatija will play Kunti with her confidante Priyamvada, essayed by Riva Bubber. Sandeep Rajora will play Suryadev. Other members include Anand Suryavanshi, Uzair, Naved Aslam, Sachin Verma, Nimai Bali and Surendra Pal as Adirath, Shon, Bhishma, Indra, Dhron and Parshuram. The stunts of the show has been directed by action coordinator Tinu Verma.
'Suryaputra Karn' premieres tonight at 8.30 pm and will air every Monday to Thursday on Sony Entertainment Television.
