"Good morning, Madhav Kaka" Arjun smiled as he sat on the floor besides him. But Kaka was engrossed in his playing. After few seconds, he changed the tune.

"Bihag." Arjun guessed as he listened carefully. "Why this sad raga early morning, Kaka?"

And, he stopped. Touching the flute with his head and keeping it near the feet of Saraswati Maa's idol, he turned towards Arjun and asked,

"What came in your mind this morning when you woke up?"

"You." Arjun answered simply unaware of what his Madhav Kaka meant.

"That is because I was here today. When I'm not here, what comes in your mind early morning?"

"Nothing". Revenge.

"Stop lying to me, Arjun. Face the truth. Tell me." Madhav Kaka demanded.

I'm sorry, Kaka. "You know..." he said, finally losing from him.

Madhav Kaka shrugged at his stubborn behavior. "First look inside yourself, Arjun. The life in which you are living began when you were born and will end only when you will die. Your life starts within you and will end with you only. The life that God gave you was bright. Wasn't it? Then why do you choose to make it dark?"

Even I want a bright life. "For Dida." Arjun replied blankly.

"By the way, I saw one beautiful lady, the one with Samaira yesterday at your office party." Madhav Kaka suddenly spoke from behind.

"Radhika." Arjun spoke turning his head slightly.

"She is beautiful. And nice. And humble." Kaka spoke with a smile.

"Kaka" Arjun glared at him. Madhav Kaka became silent just like a kid. And as soon as Arjun was about to play the flute, he again spoke, a naughty smile playing on his lips.

"I was actually talking about that Piyali. I never said Radhika." Before Arjun could say anything, he rushed up the stairs. Arjun again started playing the flute, this time, Bhupali. A soft, calm composure Raga. Madhav Kaka looked up from the stairs and smiled. After all, it is not always that Arjun plays a calm composed raga?

"Radhika..." he mumbled and went.

Arjun kept playing Bhupali while remembering her. Yes, she was the light in his darkness.
