Salman and several others claims he is such a big super star but if he is such a big super star then why has he not been able to break the records Aamir have created? even SRK have managed to break them.
Aamir has truly created several box office records and his films have been fantastic content wise also. Salman's films have always lacked content through the last few years and they have been hit but never created a benchmark at box office.
It was Aamir who created 100 cr. club with Ghajini, after that Salman copied him also started doing action roles and did south remakes like Aamir. Then Aamir started doing Hirani films and appealed to the aam janta then Salman copied the same. Now the latest is Aamir playing a wrestler and Salman also copied that and he is also playing a wrestler. Salman clearly is just a follower and not a trend setter like Aamir Khan.
Salman's films are not even part of top 5 highest-grossing Bollywood films:
1. PK
2. Dhoom 3
3. Chennai Express
4. 3 Idiots
5. Happy New Year
When 3 Idiots came out, Salman's PR went cray with claiming Salman will break the record but he did not manage to do so. It was SRK with Chennai Express who managed to break 3 Idiots record. Then Aamir came with Dhoom 3 and created another trend and Salman was still behind and forget competing with Aamir he could not even beat Chennai Express. Last Year Aamir came with PK and showed everyone is baap of box office and by now Salman must have realized he can not compete with Aamir. Even SRK got 2 films in top 5 but Salman got no film in top 5 so why is it so?
it's not like Salman's films aren't releasing on holidays, the man needs the holidays, his films also got chartbuster music, action scenes, item numbers, skin show etc. so it got all those things to get the audience in cinema but still he can't break Aamir for that matter SRK's records, why?
