Oh and Im sure they invest a lot in research. It shows on screen.
If ekta invested half of that atleast on her writers, her shows wouldnt be this pathetic.

"Mere desh ki dharti sona ugle, ugle heere moti"
This song is playing in rewind in my mind right now 😆

TBH,we have just so many stories to tell. So much variety, the culture and traditions are so varied,I just dont see why should we be stuck with one genre which is so pathetic.

Its sad really.

I heard that Epic is coming with Chokar Bali written by perhaps Tagore and other pieces from literature with ending in 3-4 episodes . And some reputed director perhaps Anurag Basu . Siyasat was based on Twentieth Wife and changed the hero because wanted mature as Jahangir . I liked the starting . Epic now do not have advertisement . Milind Soman was perhaps producing Kahi Ankahi . You feel so proud when you come to know about the so many forgotten historical places . and stories behind them . Ekant was also one show . Dharamkshetra was kind of about reasoning behind the actions at the time of Mahabharat . I have read Chitra Bannerji,s novel Draupadi and so much i felt was there also
Have recommended this channel to many people who look for contents .

Grass always looks greener on other side. I have read reviews of many citizens of Pakistan on internet. Some call there own show regressive and show call them boring. Some rather like the flashiness of our Indian dramas and wish the same for their own.

Second reason which i find even in few upper class Indians is that they will always prefer American dramas over these. They simply call the story revolving around emotions and love ott and boring. They seem to prefer the lightness and action American dramas give them. I don't condemn them because everyone has the choice but what annoys me is those who speak without even watching Pakistani/Indian dramas. They simply judged them on the basis of a fixed thinking they have for dramas of these two countries. Luckily we do have sensible people who do not judge such dramas without watching them.

Many Pakistani shows revolve around social issues because of which they have to make the show little regressive. It's the demand of the story but people don't like it. Few elites are unable to connect with such regressive themes as they might not be aware about the real issues middle/low-middle people face. Not all, just few.
