The episode was very enjoyable thanks to little Aaru.. He is such a charmer, he never fails to draw a smile from me. The initial Ram - Aarav scene was a pretty long one, and it was throughly enjoyable and realistic. Araav, being the kid he is, telling his father all about the stay at grandfather's house, the ill-treatment at the hands of his cousins and massi from hell, and also the support of their grandfather, it is natural for the kid to share all these with the father he meets after a king while, and for Ram's part, he didn't badmouth or instigate the boy against AK, Ram Ahuja is indeed a fair and straightforward person. But he is very much concerned about how the kids are treated at the Kapoor's place, with little Aarav frank assessment on how the grandfather sometimes shouts, but he also apologies later put Ram's concerns to rest. Aarav telling his father that he wants the gaming console from his father, and not from grandfather, a very touchy scene. Kids do know who are family, and who are outsiders.

Ram promising Aarav that soon they will come to be with him, and also that Aarav can call him whenever he wants, Aarav demanding to know when Ram coming to meet him again, asking for promise to meet him on his b'day, Ram promising to get the gaming console for his b'day. Guess, Ram really can't deny the boy what he wants when they are meeting after a while, and also the boy is so sweet, nobody can really deny him anything. Ram noticing Disha'a arrival, bids bye, instructs the boy not to inform Disha about their meeting.

All the while, Ayaan managed to hold Disha occupied with his stupid antics, he distracted her, get scolded by her, poor guy he might never have got scolded so much even by his parents. :)

Now the reason for party is clear, Aarav's b'day.. And Ram is certainly going to gate-crash as he promised Aarav to attend the b'day, but what will be the repercussions?

AK fuming against Manav's incompetency and the loss incurred. First time ever Manav impressed with his acting, his rants with Manika and later the evil smile, really good. He had some trick up his sleeve to increase the sales, is the trick involves Ram's music? Only time will tell..

Ram finding how expensive the gaming console his son wants, shares his desperation with Karan, asking Karan to get him some job for him to earn money.. It does give out some vibes of whether Ram will again attempt to sell his music underhandedly to Manav for some quick cash, but somehow I felt he wouldn't do it as Anu prohibited him from doing so.

A very sensible scene between Ayaan and his senior, the senior is a smart guy, he is also taking personal interest in Ram. He telling Ayaan that even if Ram gets acquitted by law, Disha may not trust him, and Ayaan telling acquittal by court is the first step, the senior is a very good judge character. He also warns Ayaan about how AK must be pressurising prosecution to get Ram's bail to get cancelled, and might be arranging for more high profile lawyer. Ayaan deciding to start the search of the elusive letter from post office. Good that he does something more than being unofficial watchdog of AK ;).

Rest of the episode was the fun and cute moments of Aarav, he was just flying in happiness today. Disha is aware of his happiness, but not the reason. Aarav tells her about some mischief at school, and also about his upcoming b'day which she had forgotten.. He replies to his cousins's taunts that he too is getting the gaming console, as a gift for his b'day but smartly didn't reveal from whom he will get it. Last scene of the kids taking to their mom at sky was sweet, but sad too, Aarav complaining to his mom about Disha forgetting his b'day, then feeling sad that his mom won't be with him for this b'day, Disha consoling him saying their mom will also be looking out for them, and then asking about how he wants to celebrate it, for which Aarav replying that as they do always. A beautiful scene between the bro-sis with the mom's silent presence. Hope the words of Aarav about his first b'day without mom melts Disha enough to let their father attend the party.

Precap: Ram at Manav's office for work (or to sell his album), Manav asking him to get out, Karan suggesting Ram to join the enemy's enemy, Ram smiles with new found enthusiasm, guess, the enemy's enemy is some competitor of AK's music company. Probably it is the start of Ram's rise in music scene, and also the start of AK's company's downfall (as it is incurring some heavy losses as mentioned by AK).

Thank you Geetha for the take. Really appreciate this.

Little Aarav and his dad's scene was just right. I mean...there are different types of emotional scenes. Some can be over-sentimental, some over the top and some very underplayed. Here, both father and son expressed their feelings without going overboard. It was natural.

Aarav is a rockstar...no two words about it. His immense faith and love in his dad is beautiful. Ram had no bad words to say about his father-in-law to Aarav. He was only concerned that the children were being looked after and was assured when Aarav said that they were and his grandfather even apologised after shouting at him.

Please Aarav, give some brains to your sister!!!! You want the gift of the console only from your dad, because you know that he is the closest to you and is your real family. Disha needs to get off her high horse! I agree, Ram promising the gift to his son is the only option I could see. He could not have broken his son's heart after all that has happened.

Ayaan is growing on me. I like this guy and his sometimes goofy and sometimes serious nature. If he does end up with Disha, she's going to keep him under her thumb!!

Seems Mr I hate Ram Anand Kapoor isn't doing so well in the business world. That's what you get when you kick real talent and keep GFNs like Manav with you. Manav has some ace up his sleeve but what? Stealing Ram's music? Hehe...am wondering if we'll see Mr AK down on his fortunes and Ram who's now rich, gives him shelter? And Manav given the post of errand boy by Ram! Okay, I'm being filmy now!

Karan sometimes gives the vibes of being a true friend and sometimes a friend who just wants to get Ram into trouble! Today he was good and seems he will help Ram earn some money with his music.

The law points discussed seem sensible and good point in bringing up the post office. Where is that elusive letter?! The point which the senior lawyer raised that the way Disha hates Ram, an acquittal from the law isn't going to be enough. This is a very valid observation. She needs proof, sad!

Aarav and Disha scenes at home were cute, Aarav and his laughter is infectious. Seems like the actors playing Aarav and Disha share a warm bond...the sibling love shines through. The scene with the stars was touching, kids are resilient and bounce back from tragedy faster, I feel. Aarav will always miss his mom but he has accepted this and finds happiness in talking to the star which represents his mom. Disha is older and it's not so easy for her. But they need to get her out of her Angry Young Woman mode and show her grieving for her mom and the life they all had as a family which included her dad too. And then wonder if all is not as it seems...her dad, who was her hero...could he have done something so, so terrible?

Now seems a Mr Dadlani is going to be Ram's savior or is he also going to milk the bad situation Ram is in and short change Ram? My TV soap antennae is telling me that the new woman who's a singer and Ram are going to make a successful album together. But hopefully it's with Disha and Aarav by the side of their dad. And hopefully if Sony doesn't play havoc with the show!

Suganthi,

Yes, Aarav - Ram scene was just perfect, no OTT emotions, and I guess Ram-Disha reunion would be a complete opposite of it, with lot of rona dhona ;), probably rona dhona is required for that scene considering their current equation.

Hahhaha, Disha is just like her mother in that way, in keeping the partner under her thumbs ;)

Suganthi, your prediction on AK's future is not just too flimy ;), it is also some 30 years outdated filmy ;)

Yup, the Disha-Aarav seems to share a very close relationship offscreen too, that's why their scenes comeout so natural. Yes, kids are more easily adoptable to change in circumstances and also more resilient, I heard not such mentally, they are physically too more resilient, meaning when kids contract diseases, they tend to get cured faster than adults. Poor Disha, she doesn't have the luxury of childish innocence & trust, but her maturity should also make her think more deeply, but here the age is only making her more cynical.

I agree, I too think the new female entrant and Ram would have a successful professional alliance, will it make Disha insecure about her Dad? I think it might.. Somehow I feel Mr. Dadlani would not just exploit Ram, but also will help him to reach success, it is way past due that Ram tastes success.

Great views :)
Um yeah, Aaroo_Ram scenes were good, Disha crabby as usual. Ayaan's cute behavior.

Even I think something fishy is gonna happen involving the Kapoor company.

Or maybe it did, haven't watched the other two episodes yet.😆

Thank you. I think the Kapoor company issues are brought up to give a hint about future track, once Ram gets acquitted, how he grows in stature while Kapoor & co suffer losses.

Friday episode was total crap, not worth a watch.
