new couple

after convincing myself that i would not watch kajaal after the original dev and kajal died - i couldn't help myself and i watched todays episode.

the new couple is not that bad. the girl is a little too perky and dev is shown as a cook and a guitar player but i kept an open mind watching todays episode. i gave it some thought and came to the realization that i like the new story as well.

obviously the concept of being reincarnated is that you will not enjoy the same lifestyle or comfort that you may have in the previous life. our dev was rich and this one isn't. That's what makes it interesting - the same background and lifestyle, etc. would have only made this serial repetitive and boring.

i know some feel that the new duo has a lot to live up to as they are fulfilling dev and kajal's shadows ... but i think we can't judge characters in one episode alone. the new kajal or katie or kitty or whatever may be a little perky and a little confused right now and dev might be carefree now but i think as the serial progresses, their maturity level will increase and ... let me just get to my point. without comparing the new duo to the past duo, i think the new track might be nice plus the new duo is cute! plus the punjabi comedy helps!!

No I don't agree with you. I seriously don't think the actors are good at shakal department, especially this ugly chinkudulaari gulloo bachchaa. Well, this show isn't about some teenage romance but since these makers are going through soo much delusion nowadays, they have turned it into a High School Musical Teenagious Crushes part 3, and if these actors are really good at acting, then they should sign up for some other role in a different show; as they can never settle in our hearts like Apu and Sur did. For us, Dk can only only only and only be Apu and Sur;they are immortal for us; they cannot be compared with anyone else, as their acting is completely flawless and impeccable! The old storyline was trillion times better, and they show would have rocked soo fantastically, if it didn't end up in Shreya's clutches! The Shreyas are the ones who are responsible for all this and we shall never forgive them! If you are a diehard fan of this show and Apu and Sur, then you would understand how much it hurts bigtime to watch your two most beloved darlings being replaced by some chote chote Teenagious immature bachche! So, therefore we can never imagine some other people playing DK other than apu and Sur, because Apu and Sur have rocked this show with their breathtakingly amazing and admirable onscreen chemistry and have settled in our hearts in such a way by their brilliant performances, that it's totally impossible for us, to forget about them, or to see some other people replacing them, so it's an untolerable torture for us! We live life for Apu and Sur as DK, we smile when they are happy, and we cry our hearts out when they are in pain, so they are immortal for us, even though they are fictional characters. We all keep telling ourselves that they are just fictional characters, in order to find solace, but it still doesn't work at all! It still doesn't pacify us, or gives us any peace! We are soo badly traumatized by their death, and soo spellbound and lost in the thoughts of those wonderful memories that they shared, that now whenever we think of trying to forget them or try accepting these new characters, it gives us even more pain and unbearable sorrow! So, we can never give these people a chance to settle in our hearts and dwell in our hearts forver by recreating the same old magic of Apu and Sur. Ofcourse, they cannot act as beautifully as Apu and Sur, with the same passion, craziness, and love, and therefore they won't be successful in recreating that magic, and rule over our hearts, because that old magic can only only only only only only be created by Apu and Sur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, DK as Apu and Sur forever and ever! 😳 😃 No one else in the entire universe can take their place no matter how great they are in the acting department! DK ie Apu and Sur have become an integral part of our lives and we cannot even think of trying erase their memories and give other actors a chance to fill their space by replacing them and recreating that old charm. I would say, these actors aren't fit for playing Apu and Sur's role at all! If they are really good, they should be acting in other shows, as they can't create that same old magic (and the chemistry between these two frog embryos won't be as great as Apu and Sur's for sure!)since it is terribly and devastatingly complicated to do so. Therefore, new actors, please note: we cannot see anybody in DK's Apu and Sur's shoes, as they are immortal for us, and empires of our worlds! So, if you guys wanna do some other roles and come to some other new show, then please do so, before it's too late, the show goes down the drains and Kaacon ji wastes all the talents of you people in this crappy storyline! PLS just don't waste your talents for money, and do some other soap, before everything gets terribly pathetic! 😃

i like the new couple...i think the guy is reallyy cute and the girl is pretty... so i dont see any harm in watching this....just a request...give them a chance..maybe they wont b able to get to where apu n sur were but hey atleast they can try! im still here to watch the show! i like the new story...its coming out pretty good. think if this wasn't kaajjal and a whole different show...would u watch it?? i think u would! its pretty good...be positive

I can't be positive because it's torture to watch some other people replace Apu and Sur like this! 😭 Aur haa, agar ye ek different show bhi hoti naa, to ye show dekhnemei mujhe koi dilchaspi nahi hoti! Kasam se! 😃

The new couple are just about cute and sweet. They definitely lack maturity and presence in acting. However, with time I am sure they are definitely going to excel. However, they are not fit for portraying Dev and Kajjal's role who are reborn to take revenge from their murderer. They are fine for teenage/college going love stories !

After being treated to such powerful characters like Dev and Kajjal so well enacted by Apu and Surveen, we find it difficult to accept that these very same characters have turned into delicate bumpkins in their next janam. If they were not given a past connection and that too of such lovable and strong characters, these kids would have been fine ! If Shreyas could not give them a dhamakadar entry in the very first introduction episode, how will they take the story ahead ! They will have to depend only on Apu-Sur's DK flashbacks to sustain themselves.

I agree to some extent that the new actors should b given a chance...but why not in a new serial?? 😕 😕 ...When these bacchha r stepping into the shoes of such versatile actors like Apu and Surveen then comparisons r bound to happen 😊 and I still think they won't b able to carry out the maturity level of dev and kaajjal ...well only time will tell mayb... 😕
