Who was the most iconic singer of Bollywood among these names...(the older lot were i know i.e rafi,kishore etc) but am concern with these names whom i have grown up listeing to 😛

Sonu Nigam..its an experience to watch him sing in his concerts for real <3

I mean playback singing ofcoz he has done a commendable job..after a few struggling years in the beginning..and any singer, anyone at all cannot do justice to the way he has sung satrangi re for dil se IMO..and he has managed to have great solos in his kitty and has a voice which sounds good in duets with shreya to sunidhi to even latajee (khamoshiya muskurane lagi)

but to experience the awesomeness of this man, one has to see him sing live, not one false note and absolutely effortless and the fusions he does in them..and a complete entertainer!

for me, first is Sonu Nigam and second is Udit Narayan. and i do have a soft corner for Kailash Kher. He is just brilliant.

Sonu Nigam among the choices. He has such a soulful voice. And imo very versatile too. I have heard him sing in different languages and he does it so effortlessly.

I don't think you can say that Sonu ji is iconic. He's a great singer no doubt. Probably the most versatile singer, but the most iconic for me has to he Udit ji!
