I just don't know, Am I being too judgemental? The episodes these days are of pretty good quality, the story is kind of moving (not as fast as I want) and there is a combination of different emotions. With Ayaan and his antics they are introducing the necessary light hearted moments, but somewhere I find these light heartedness kind of jarring to my taste. And I just couldn't relate to most scenes, wonder whether I should give a break to making takes until I could connect to the show again...
I can't relate to Disha having those fun moments after behaving that way with Ram, yes, she was angry and dumped it on little Aaru, but where is the sadness, I don't see it, it is becoming easier for Ayaan to draw her out of her moodiness. The scene after Ram's sad departure, where Ayaan pleads and teases her to have icecream, I just couldn't relate to either Ayaan or Disha, yes Aaru needed that mood lift after being denied the meeting with his father and then his sister's (too frequent) scoldings. But Ayaan's priority should have been Ram, why didn't he spend time with Ram after the bail, to explain him about the status quo at Kapoor house, the truth about the custody, the alternative way to meet the kids, he did nothing of that sort, but rushed home to console his bade papa. Ayaan needs to prioritise and his client's welfare should be priority. I don't have any doubts on his intentions or commitment to the case, but his affection of AK is interfering with his commitment. Ram as his client deserves his complete loyalty, but here Ayaan's loyalty is divided. Not just professionally , even on humanitarian basis, Ram needs his support more and to an extent guidance too. Nothing wrong in Ayaan helping AK to bond with the kids, or even in doing things to make AK happy, But isn't ensuring Ram doesn't do something to screw up his bail (like coming to AK's house, or indulging in alcohol) more important? Where is Ayaan's focus? Yes, his mother stopped him from following Ram, but couldn't he call Ram and explain him his situation and also give him some hope?
I do want the kids to bond with their grandfather, AK does deserve a heart warming relationship with his grand kids, but the timing of Disha's mellow down making me uneasy. Just after she gets to know about AK's level of vengeance against Ram, she's melting.. Shouldn't AK's extreme vengeance on Ram put a roadblock on the budding comfort level between her & AK? But we see Disha getting more comfortable with AK, 'Nanuji' comes easily to her now. Looking back, I think her attitude towards AK changed remarkably after AK had that chat with her in the garden and justified his action of blocking Ram's growth.. Does that mean she is agreeing with her granddad that her father didn't deserve success for all his talent and hardwork? Even knowing about Ayaan being sent for doing jassosi on her, she is perfectly normal. Her & Ayaan's Nok Jhok in car is another scene I couldn't relate to, inspite of some very good acting. Probably all these interactions between Ayaan & Disha is to show the budding romance between them in future :(.
Maillka is being openly bitchy with the kids, I prefer this behabiour over sugar coated words in front and then backstabbing. Aaru is being consistent, he is affectionate with his Nanu, but clear that his dad is his family.
Ram. Ram, what are you doing by sitting and drinking in a bar.. He needs man up, and not breakdown at the first hurdle, I would like to see him show some backbone, vow to prove his innocence and win back his kids, instead he is drowning his sorrows in a bottle :(, the first time ever in the show, karan gave a sensible advice to Ram by suggesting to meet Aarav at school. This suggestion should have been given by Ayaan, never mind, atleast someone did a good job,
Btw, didn't Disha proclaim few days back that she is not attending college / school anymore? Why she is going to college again? Big blooper...
AK is one smart cookie, he knows Ram will try to meet Aarav at school, so he sent Ayaan as a bodyguard. Probably Ayaan is the only person who can dare enough to question AK on why Ram can't meet his kids. I remember mentioning this reasoning in one of my earlier comments, AK wants the kids as a means to win over Ram, Ram took his daughter away from him now he wants to take Ram's kids away from him. I don't doubt his love for the kids, but his primary focus is revenge, that's exactly what he said Ayaan, that he wants to defeat Ram. And he is scared that by meeting Ram, the kids will be swayed away by him.
Ram at school, Ayaan arranging to leave Aarav alone sothat Ram can meet him. A nice moment between Aarav and Ram, somehow Aarav's delight in meeting his father overshadowed Ram's happiness. That's the power of innocence.
Precap : Disha scolding Ayaan for leaving Aarav alone, rushes down to find him, Ram bidding bye to his son, leaving his phone number with Aarav. Disha stunned seeing something, I don't think she had seen her father, it is something else that shocks her. AK blaming Manav for some trouble at office, wonder what is the purpose of this track... Are they attempting to bring Ram and AK close?
