I feel that is one of the reason as content well accepted by audience . Even his earlier movie which did paltry business like 3idiot , d3 etc. click with content there. In india itself beside amir star power people appreciate the content how it cater the issue of black spot in organized religion , cater the issue in rational approach etc. In india majority of people are religious that does not mean all believe in fanatic way and thats why we have only handful of protester who oppose the movie . It address the social issue through entertainment.

If u believe fetching 100 crore is tingu power in china then well and good I cant do faltu ka tu tu main main with pankhas.

It is working there so well because it is brilliant movie. Because of as you said content. Notice how I didn't refute that point in your original post. Aamir has BO pull in China, his past three movies have done well and he has become a familiar face. But yes, his BO pull while good,is not even close to giving PK numbers.

But saying that its working becuase it is againt riligious monoploy has no basis in fact. There have been hundreds of such movies made, and none of them have done PK numbers. PK is doing so well because it is a tremendously good movie. If 3I is released there today, it will do similar numbers as well.

HNY was released in 5000 screens in China...PK was released in 3500 screens...

I read somewhere that HNY collection were surpassed by PK's parking fee totals. Imagine that.😆

So, it comes to down to content and quality. You make good movies as Aamir has done (TZP and 3I are super popular there), as a result you gain their trust and they come and see your work again. As proven by PK. Dangal will be the same. It has a story that will connect very well with Chinese audience. Watch it do the same business when it release there and maybe even more, like in the range of 200 crores.

Meanwhile nobody is going to give a damn about Dilwale. Because a) Of the tremendous success and quality of HNY and b) It is going to be another crap movie.

I am more a SRK fan than Aamir, though i like both of them.. but i will blindly go and watch an Aamir movie cz i already know it will have amazing content and story and will be an epic movie.

With SRK i don't have an iota of trust anymore! (I did till mid 2000s..)
