Amanuallah Khan ??

I had missed his perf from Round 1 and only saw his perf in Semis. Based on

his perf in Semis & then comments by Shekhar Suman & others, looks like he

is some renowed commedian from Pakistan.

But solely based on his semis perf, I fail to understand his humor. There

were lot of other better commedians than him in other semis who

unfortunately had to be cut. IMHO,Vinod Kumar & Afridi (The Pathan Guy)

from the earlier's weeks Semis were far better than Amanuallah. Does anyone

else feel the same way ?

He is number 1 comedystage artist of Pakistan.

But I do agree that his performance in the semi finals was not up to par.

I suggest you to see his stage drama SHARTIA MITHEY.

But his all dramas are in punjabi so if u understand the language you will definately enjoy it.

Thanks I will check the stage drama. I am not a punjabi but do understand

most of it.

I do agree that his performance in the semi's was not that good. However his performance and jokes were good ones in the first two rounds.

He is indeed one of the best or may be best comedy stage actor in Punjab on both sides Indian and Pakistan. Since his performances and humaor is based on Punjabi Culture it is hard to translate it in Hindi and when you do translate it looses its purity and buzz.

This is why Singh ji enjoys it allot when he hears the Punjabi bit because he can associate it with the culture or the life he have lived or is living as Punjabi.

In summary he could have done better in semis but to see his real performance watch his stage shows. To name one is 'Shrtya Mithey'.
