From what I have read here at the time that the movie was offered to her that time slot was booked for another movie which never materialized. Or it was going to be booked and she basically made a choice between that one and Piku. I think it was a Dharma movie with Saif.

Oh it was Ranbir? I thought it was a Saif film. I suppose there is a bit of am excuse here for her as Ranbir at the time was I a better position than Saif. But still, costarring with Big B and Irrfan would have done wonders for her resume, regardless of how the movie would have turned down. Hindsight I guess.

It was the film with Saif that Dinesh Vijan was going to direct for Illuminati. The film kept getting delayed then eventually got shelved..

KJo never announced a film with Parineeti and Ranbir.

She must have been trying to go for stardom.

Clearly, industry people have more "names" sense than script sense.

More often than not, they choose ones with famous names than potentially good content.

From wht I read, she chose "Kill Dill" over PIKU. And if she did, then it was a bad decision on her part. But I fail to understand if she did choose Kill Dill over Piku what made her come to that decision. I mean seriously any sane actor trying to make it big would clearly choose Big B and Irfan, and Shoojit over Ranveer, Ali and Govinda.

She was probably going for a "hot new onscreen couple" thing with Ranveer, Didn't work.

Ranbir and Parineeti to play 'Mr and Mrs Tapori'?

Ranbir and Parineeti Chopra

Trade sources have indicated that Karan Johar has registered the title 'Mr And Mrs Tapori' for his next film with Ranbir Kapoor. The filmmaker was in New York recently scripting for the film.

When we last checked with Karan, he had said that he was still working on the final casting. But indications are that Parineeti Chopra may play Mrs Tapori.

Kjo's movie Mr and mrs tapori got shelved Parineeti gave up piku for Kjo and Rk.
