'Emraan Hashmi ke mausam mein...': Jay Bhanushali's viral reply to girlfriend question leaves fans in splits

Television actor Jay Bhanushali has once again left fans smiling with his witty sense of humour. Months after confirming his separation from Mahhi Vij, the actor hosted an "Ask Me Anything" session on Instagram, where he responded to several fan questions, including one about his current relationship status.

During the interaction, a follower asked Jay, "Do you have girlfriend?" Instead of giving a direct answer, the actor chose humour. Sharing a picture of himself with his hand covering his eyes, he replied, "Kyun dukhti nas daba rahe ho." He then added, "Emraan Hashmi ke Mausam mein Salman Khan wali zinagi jee raha hun." His playful response quickly caught the attention of fans and began circulating across social media.

Jay also answered a few light hearted questions during the session. When asked whether he preferred beaches or mountains, the actor replied, "Beach always," while posting a video of himself enjoying time on a yacht. Another fan wanted to know his current favourite song, to which Jay responded, "4U by Maanu."

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij announced their separation in January 2026 after months of speculation surrounding their marriage. The couple, who had been married for 14 years, issued a joint statement confirming that the decision was mutual. They also clarified that there was "no villain" and "no negativity" behind their separation.

Despite ending their marriage, Jay and Mahhi said they remain committed to raising their three children, Tara, Khushi and Rajveer, together. They had emphasised that their focus would continue to remain on their family and maintaining a healthy co parenting relationship.

Earlier this year, Mahhi Vij also spoke about the separation during an appearance on Rajeev Khandelwal's chat show Tum Ho Naa. She made it clear that there was no bitterness between them and described Jay as an important part of her life.

She said, "Jay is my best friend right now, and he is my family." Mahhi further added, "Humlog abhi bhi family ki tarha jude hue hain ek dusre ke liye," explaining that both families continue to share a close relationship. She revealed that her father still visits Jay's home for tea, while Jay also remains in regular touch with her family, highlighting that they have maintained cordial ties despite their separation.
